We stopped in for breakfast after an early morning run to Winn Dixie next door. It was our first time here. The food was excellent. I got a bacon egg and cheese bagel on a garlic bagel. The food was fresh. It was so good. I highly recommend this place.
Empire Bagels is hands-down our favorite bagel spot! Their bagels are soft with the perfect slight chew, and they have just the right touch of sweetness. We usually go for their ham, egg & cheese on an onion bagel (so good!), but honestly even a plain bagel with butter is incredible. I’m from Jersey and really good bagels are hard to find everywhere. True NYers know that not all who say theirs are authentic NYC bagels are, IMHO, the real deal.
Empire Bagels is the exception, even importing NYC’s wonderful water, a required ingredient in any authentic bagel. You can order online for pickup at an appointed time. What’s not to like?
