We Live in Punta Gorda and thought we'd try a different restaurant than our norms so first time at Don's. Nothing special or outstanding that makes us want to go back. The dinner meals seemed OK but wish they offered bread or side salad with the entrees. There are so many other local restaurants to choose from that offer more.

Went here first for Thanksgiving dinner. The traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner was EXCELLENT! Went back a couple of nights later. We had the meatloaf and beef bourguignon. Both EXCELLENT!

For three years of snowbirding, we have heard wonderful things about this place. As we live 30 minutes away, we finally gave it a try tonight. I’m so angry that we have not tried this place earlier! We were fortunate to have Denise as a waitress. She gave us excellent recommendations, and was a consummate waitress for us knowing the menu and wine list very well.
