Okay place. The lake had LOTS of trash around the pier and shoreline. Unfriendly people walking around. No public bathrooms available. Don’t need to revisit anytime soon!!

Toilets: No Public restrooms around the lake area.

Picnic area: Very dirty and unkempt. Trash everywhere!!

It's way too small for all those people that live there now and it's just keep on building houses

Founders square is the center of Babcock Ranch, the new, hurricane resistant town 20 miles east of Ft Myers. No flooding, no power, water or Gas outage and minimal damage during and after all hurricanes that passed here since it was founded around 2016. And Ian was a full hit.

Yes, there are horses and bails of hay laid about in inconspicuous locations that began this naming of the community. And since it's beginning the community has grown with homes, markets, a high-school, skate area and so much more!

Babcock first solar powered town in America. A few nice places to eat and the town offers many parks for kids to have fun. Middle of nowhere but thats how I like it! Find out more at the Babcock Discovery Center (ask for Becky) right in the heart of Founders Square.Playground: For all agesRestrooms: Clean

A large selection of arts and crafts at the square with live music and many food trucks. Parking was ample and convenient to the square and all the vendors. Traffic was light and there was a large variety of items for sale with the artists right there. All of the vendors were selling higher quality items. Glad we went.
