Work up an appetite before coming here! A lengthy menu of choices. Many southern choices such as pulled pork, Grouper and collard greens. Servings were large and we were all four satisfied. I would have like my greens cooked longer. We had a tour first. But it's open till 2 for anyone.

Really really good food. Best Gator bites I have ever had. This place really is not your typical tourist trap snack bar. It is so much better than most regular restaurants!
Today was an amazing experience. We passed by on chance because of convenience. We thought well if the food isn't amazing at least will get a good scenic experience. Well let me tell you that the scenery ended up being the last thing on our minds. The food was beyond good to the point that I had to mention to the cook it was the absolute best flounder I had ever tasted ! My friend as you can tell from the pictures was also raving about how delicious the food was. As if that wasn't enough Rebecca ( the waitress) and Kerry ( The chef) were amazingly sweet, and attentive to us as consumers.In all honesty our experience couldn't have been better, because of this I now intend on establishing a habit of passing through this area hungry on purpose when I know I'm headed this way ?

Highly recommend the buggy tour! 1.5 hours long but highly worth it. The tour guide driver was very informative and safe. Would do it again!

Please update your online hours. I just drove 35 minutes to get something to eat and the place has a piece of paper on the window saying it is closed.super frustrating now i have to drive back and 1 hour to find a different place

We had a blast. We had contemplated an air boat ride or the eco tour and we are very happy we chose the eco tour. It's cheaper, longer and we were able to see so many different animals from cows, hogs,snakes, alligators, turtles and raccoons. Our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. We will for sure be coming back again on our next trip to florida! -Minnesota

We stopped by the Gator Shack twice before our Ecotours. The food was good both times, and the staff is pleasant. No one is either of our parties had complaints. We will continue to bring visitors to have lunch and ride the ecotour bus.

This is a great tour for all ages! I would guess it's different every time. We took our children here 30+ years ago and today we brought their children! Hopefully in years to come they can bring their children.

We went as a family of seven after our tour. This place is fantastic, to say the least. Service is great, food is great, and the atmosphere is great. Our large party ordered a huge variety of food (chicken sandwich, chili, flounder basket, BLT sandwich, grilled cheese, philly cheesteak, etc.). I don't know how the one chef does it, but everything, and I mean everything was just delicious, fresh and cooked to perfection. Seriously, go on the fabulous tour and then eat at this fantastic restaurant. You will not be disappointed. The gentleman doing the serving made serving so many tables appear seamless. Honestly, this place is a gem!Kid-friendliness: They had a huge variety of yummy food that even the kiddos will enjoy and love!

Seriously, the food, atmosphere and service here are fantastic! We went on the Babcock Eco Tour (which we also highly recommend) and then came to the Gator Shack for lunch. We were a large party of seven, and ordered so much food (philly cheesteak, chicken sandwich, bowl of chili, macaroni and cheese, flounder basket, BLT sandwich, and more)! Everything was delicious and fresh. The service was excellent. The gentleman helping us was quite and efficient. Highly recommend this gem to everyone!
