I enjoyed the atmosphere. I got the steak and shrimp entrée. It was ok but not much flavor. The broth was really good. I got the spicy tuna roll. I'm not big on sushi but it was good. The lady who brought me my food needs to realize there are choices out there. If someone says thank you, she should acknowledge them with something.

Good: Sushi roll goodBad: everything else. Poorly run. Counter lady took our order and there are table markers you get so they know who gets what. Well she didnt communicate this to us, we asked her is this ours. Then the kid who brings the food, cant read, speak or understand english and doesnt even read the ticket so he goes to every table and asks you if this dish is yours. after he brought our food, he brought more dishes out to us when others had no food yet. Poor training? Then he was yelled at by the man behind the counter. He tried his best. noodle stir fry was a very sparse portion. Men's bathroom stunk of stale urine, it was disgusting. I don't get the good reviews, def not a 4.7. Wont return and wish i never went there.

Friendly service. The beef dumplings were fantastic! (There were actually two more than pictured here.) The chicken and shrimp teriyaki were a little overcooked and dry. The sauces were absolutely needed - not just for the dryness, but also for the blandness. I’d definitely go back for the dumplings, but I’d try the sushi next time instead of the hibachi.

Food was wonderful as always we had steak and shrimp entree, and chicken and shrimp entree. Restaurant was extremely busy tonight with both inhouse and takeout orders. All done in a timely fashion. Absolutely our favorite restaurant in Punta Gorda!!

Best hibachi in SWFL. The food is fresh, delicious, and affordable. The staff are timely and friendly. Anytime we are out of town and try a new/different hibachi we are disappointed because Ichi Hibachi has set the gold standard for us and nothing else compares! Well done to the owners and staff for this gem in Punta Gorda.

Kid-friendliness: It's new lovely place! Food is delicious, especially sushi. Stuff super friendly. But the back of the building where are bathrooms stink with smoke! Seems like someone of workers are smoking there. And we wore there twice and each time stinks! Another concern is they have 2 buckets on a floor with soapy water, where they rinse cloth and wipe down the tables. Kinda looks unsanitary.

I don't like having to stand studying the menu while the cashier is pressuring me to hurry up and order because there are 10 people behind me waiting to do the same thing ... sit me at a table and give me a menu then come take my order !! This way of ordering reduces your tip significantly ????? ... it's like McDonald's and I don't tip at McDonald's ????
