Isabel & Annabel's Mexican Restaurant

This place was highly recommended, so we tried it. We were greeted and served by the owner, Jose. He was very friendly, told us about the menu, and let us try some items first. He was very personable about the restaurant and his family, which was reflected in his food and service. The food was amazing. Enjoy the pictures!

I ordered a enchilada and they are the worst enchiladas I have ever eaten in my life speaking from a Mexican myself. It was very dry and had no flavor. The salsa definitely tasted like it came straight out of a can. The rice was very dry it seemed like a few days old. My husband ate a burrito and the meat in the burrito tasted horrible. This is nothing at all like authentic Mexican food. I will make sure I do not come back.

Our first time there, our waitress was Annabel! She is very young and hard working...she anticipated our every need! That says a lot for a waitress...Food was great, and the drinks were wonderful! Going back real soon also, the menu was very easy to read and decipher! Cudo's!!

Fantastic food and amazing service! Accommodated a large party on short notice and everything from beginning to end was wonderful. Chimichangas were the best I've ever had. Everyone else throughout enjoyed their meals too. Staff is so nice, fun, and, even with the large group, made it look so easy! Highly recommend!

The service was not bad but the food was disappointing. No flavor fav and its like eating cardboard, taco bell is better. The floor probably has a better taste. They also played church music.

Disappointing and depressing.

We saw the cooks microwaving our food and it was very unauthentic and unseasoned. The atmosphere was quiet and depressing because they were playing slow religious music. I felt like I was eating during a funeral visitation. WEIRD.

We went here with high hopes due to the reviews online. However, very displeased with our experience. The food was NOT authentic at all. Worst “mexican” food I’ve ever had. On top of that the music was very depressing religious music which led to a very poor atmosphere. Our waiter was very polite but don’t recommend this restaurant at all unless you have no taste buds.

The best local Mexican restaurant in PG. They have Al la carte options. Tacos are $3 each and delicious.
