Worst mexican food of my life!!! Chips and hard tacos bitter because old or burned oil. Ordered steak a la tapiquena and wife ordered carnitas. I have never eaten a steak that doesn't taste like steak. No sear, no flavor, weird smell. Terrible! My son ordered hard tacos and they were very bitter.

Tonight I went to Isabel and Annabella's Mexican restaurant in downtown Punta Gorda. I ordered two chili Rellenos I cut into my dinner and was just about to take a bite when the waitress came over and said the cook made a mistake and gave me three instead of two. She came with a dish and a spatula and wanted to take one away to give to another diner I told her that was not acceptable. She said in that case she would need to charge me for three. At that point, I was disgusted and said, take it all away. I did ask for the manager and she did not hear what I was saying, she defended the waitress and the cook. I am so done with that place.

We ate dinner here with a group of 8 last Saturday night. Our server, Annabel, was outstanding! She checked back frequently and was very attentive to us. The food was also very good. We will definitely be back!

Wow this is a wonderful Mexican restaurant. The services was attentive and patient. All of the entrees were top notch and everyone loved there food. Even the Margaritas were very very good. Highly highly recommend

Quick service, good hot sauce, cold drinks and delish chicken nachos. The shredded chicken was seasoned well, perhaps a bit too salty. This is easily solved by dipping into their hot sauce and washing it down with a margarita.

This place is a gem considering the location. I had an awesome experience!! Juan was my server and I couldn't have asked for a better person to serve me. His attentiveness and bartender skills were well appreciated!! I travel alot and have spent over 2 years in New Mexico , so when I say the food and service is awesome. Better believe it!! Thirsty? Have the biggest margarita you can get!
