Wow. Hope it was just an "off day" but there wasn't anything good about my breakfast. The ice cold sausage gravy was apologized for after politely asking if they could microwave it for a minute or so. They brought back the same ice cold gravy but over a microwaved biscuit that was so hard you couldn't cut it with a knife. Asked for sausage link substitute for Kielbasa and was told there would be a slight upcharge. Told her no problem and received all kielbasa and no sausage patty or links. She again apologized and brought me a cold patty that had been burnt on one side and not cooked on the other. Then brought me a deep fried sausage link (just 1) and although this one item was hot, it was greasy as all get out and absolutely disgusting. The Texas toast was half toasted and left a pool of butter underneath it which was also nasty. The "extra crisp" hash browns were barely cooked and the over medium eggs were both nearly raw and broken on the plate. Not surprisingly, there was no offer to compensate me any portion of the nasty breakfast and for $22 and change, it surely wasn't worth it. Yes you get a fair portion of food but it's not good and you pay more for it. Never before has the old saying been more accurate: "the service was slow but the food was so bad, I didn't mind waiting". Save your money, this place isn't worth it. Being a fellow Detroiter, I wanted to support John Skis but I will never go back. I've never sent food back until today. The picture is what I wasn't able to eat ann I left there hungry

The food was average. Perhaps they have new cooks. Crabcakes are very different than I recall. I tasted too much vinegar. I question that. They now use dijon mustard as an ingredient. Tasted nothing like they used to make. Don't expect a good crabcake. I had ordered a spinach salad topped with a crabcake. It was not every good or tasty.

The food was good. I don’t know if it was just that day, but the kielbasa did not taste good but they replaced it with sausages and the pancake was no good. The owner actually did not let me pay for it so hopefully they up their game on the pancakes if they are reading this, that’s really all they have to do. They need to be nice and fluffy

My experience there was not pleasant because I noticed I was double charged for the meal because of that I had to cancel my credit card.
