Haveagoodday Ma'am

The women who work and cook here are very very nice a little slow to get the food out and short handed in terms of staff but very nice the food on the other hand oh boy, some of the items on the menu are very good some leave a lot to be desired in terms of quality and price it is very easy to over pay here granted I'm aware over inflation has everyone feeling it including businesses however I'm not sure some things on the menu here are worth the price and I have a feeling other customers agree and comparing this to other places we've eatin it makes us wonder what the deal is for example there are buffets in Orlando where for 50 to 60 per person you can get never ending amounts of food that is so good you never wanna leave granted these places are in Disneyand I understand that company has a lot of means buying ability and staff so while it's not a realistic comparison to Law's I can't see paying what they charge for the large variety seafood bucket with additional add ons when for about that same price I could eat at a Michelin star or Disney flagship establishment and get better food i.e any where from 70 to 100 or so for average cook to order high and buffet quality sit down for 2 people and around 150 for the upscale dining options top tier will set you back about 200 to 400 but that's an anniversary or once in a lifetime dining experience, suggestion; be a little more competitive in terms of quality and quantity of food offer other seafood options that aren't as salty hire some more staff and include more dining options go eat at your competitors restaurants and take note why they do a lot of business?

Great variety of fish to choose from and local shellfish.

This place is very grungy and dirty. I'm honestly surprised that the board of health allows this place to operate. The food in the refrigerated area is crambed with different seafood that is tough to differentiate what is what. Be careful not to trip over boxes when you walk in. I don't trust it but try for yourself.

Had blue crab, shrimp and a grouper sandwich. It was all good and the service was wonderful. Nothing fancy with great prices exactly what we were looking for.

Staff were friendly, and despite being busy cleaning up since it was the end of the day, they were helpful as well. They didn't have any fresh lobster tail, which is what I was looking to get, but they had frozen, cold water 8oz tail for $40/lb.I purchased 1 lb. For frozen, it was ok, but nothing to write home about. I will definitely try them again when they have some fresh tail, and I will also return in the morning vs. the end of the day for a better selection.

This place gets and maybe does profitable business because it's one of the only places that is selling seafood in the area for reasonable prices. But...there is a third world country feel to the place like a market place in the Caribbean or somewhere in some parts of Africa back in the day. They could do more to reduce the smell, the flies and some of the rotting fish on display. They need to organize and rearrange the layout of the place. There are some market places with seafood counters that are much cleaner than this place. The communication between the workers is a little unsettling to watch. They're often bumping into each other. The system is not smooth. They hand writing orders the weight of the fish manually calculate your orders, so brush up on your maths just incase they get it wrong. There's a particular young guy there that seems to have switched out fish after it's already been weighed. They give you ice to preserve your fish while you commute which is a good thing but when my 16" fish is already weighed then tossed in a cooler and then a 14" replacement bagged for me it seems the ice is a part of the deception. But hey, it's Port Charlotte, there isn't much competition so you roll with the punches especially when you're a minority. Overall you get some seafood so it's all good. Like the saying goes you take what you get till you can do better.

Bought Florida shrimp and clams. Both were fresh. Place is nothing to look at but fish seems fresh.
