I am back here today. I have not been to Mercer's for 8 years according to my last review. The place is quiet with soft music playing. There are easy chairs and tables with periodicals to read.
I'm from Ft. Myers. I work in Port Charlotte on Saturday. I've made a habit of going to Mercers for either coffee, breakfast, and sometimes both. This morning I decided to try a new item that I had not tried before. It's the egg and spinach breakfast wrap. Oh my goodness, LITERALLY!!! It's delicious! Huge, fresh spinach and veggies. Highly recommended for coffee and food. Great staff too.
Awesome little cafe with tasty coffee and other fun stuff for breakfast or lunch. We stopped here twice for breakfast and coffee. Decaf coffee was excellent which most cafes don't give a an afterthought about, but this place made some tasty medium/dark roasted decaf that was perfect for the non-caffeinated folks. Breakfast sandwich on English muffin was perfect. Exactly what you'd expect, but perfectly executed. The spinach and feta egg wrap was also a perfect rendition...
