Worst pizza, I could count on 1 hand the number of olives, paper thin sausage, very little cheese & cardboard tasting crust. It's also very loud & cramped inside. Service is slow as well.

My husband and I tried to give Monty’s a try this evening. We sat for 12+ minutes before getting up to leave. No one greeted us or came over to ask for our drink or food order while we watched other tables be sat after ours, promptly greeted, served drinks and had their orders taken. Multiple servers walked past us many times and didn’t even glance our way.

We had a group of 5 women and the waitress was very good with us. We were there for 3 hours and they never rushed us. The food was served in a timely manner and it was great.

Monty's is a quintessential staple of Punta Gorda that has been here longer than I've been alive. Diane and her family do a wonderful job preparing classic Italian favorites and their pizza is fantastic!

We went for dinner at 5:45 pm today and the restaurant was mostly empty. 4 adults in our party and my 8 month old grandbaby. Was told we could not sit in the 6 top table and werent permitted to her hook her baby chair on the table. This manager stated we must use their high chairs. I explained she was too little for a high chair. During these times, restaurants shouldnt be so quick to let regulars leave. Word of mouth is everything! The hostess and waitress didnt seem to think that the baby chair was an issue and stated they didnt know why we were treated so rudely!! We are full time residents and will NEVER return!

Waitstaff was knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant.

Dietary restrictions: I ordered the tuna salad wrap due to dairy issues. It was delicious.
