Wow, what happened? We've ordered from here for years, and it has always been good. Tonight's dinner was HORRIBLE! Its been a few months since we've dined here, so I'm not sure if there was a management change or what. Everything was super greasy and dark, not crispy whatsoever. If this is new, we won't be back. You should be ashamed to even serve this nasty food.

Loved our first visit today! We were a party of 7, and everything ordered was Excellent. Served hot and fresh! Included Conch Fritters, Alligator Bites, Grouper, Whole Belly Clams, and Fish and Chips. We can’t wait to return again!

Service was friendly and fast and the food was delicious

A very unassuming place with fresh food in a very casual atmosphere. This is a market and a cafe which great service. My husband had the clams which he loved. I had the lobster roll that came with a side of butter which was delicious. Perfect size…perfect taste. Definitely a great place for a quick meal…as long as you don’t mind sleeping like the food after!! Definitely worth it. We definitely recommend.

If you are looking for a casual seafood place with fresh, delicious seafood and a family restaurant feel… this is the place for you!
I had the fried shrimp plate which came with a generous portion of lightly breaded, crisp fried large shrimp with good Cole slaw and some of the best French fries I’ve ever had!
They have a limited selection of beer and wine but the Chardonnay I had with my meal was very good.
Our server was a very nice young man who was very hardworking and took exceptional care of us.
They seem to get pretty busy during the typical lunch hour, so we will probably time our visit a little later next time.
We will be returning to this restaurant often.

Great quick lunch at Mainely Seafood before the inspections. It was a laid back place, delicious seafood served in a simple, non fussy atmosphere. Tuna app was fresh and delicious, the gator bites were of good size and perfectly breaded and fried, one of the best i ve had so far : ) I shall return to try other items on the menu.

For seafood near Cape Coral I highly recommend Mainely Seafood in Punta, Gorda, what a hidden gem! The shrimp were amazing, the fries were top-notch, and the sweet tea hit the spot. The place is clean, well-managed, and the staff is fast and friendly. Plus, their commitment to food safety is impressive. Well worth the drive from Cape Coral!
