Went to Ortigia for the first time last night for a birthday party. There was 8 of us. We went to enjoy the outside seating, which was very nice. The food was good, but not exceptional. The filet was overcooked and the Baba Bind Shrimp had the tails on! Which would not have been issue if it was just shrimp, but it was covered with their sauce. So that it was difficult to eat. We stopped in for a quick afternoon cocktail and were met by a friendly staff at this open-air restaurant. My Aperol spritz was refreshing and perfect. If my husband hadn't ordered the RUM old fashioned, this probably would be a 5 star review. Putting it politely, he wouldn't recommend that specific cocktail. 😆👎🏻
