Phil's 41 Restaurant

Great food and place, but good customer service is important!

My last two visits over 3 months were the worst for Phil's. My salad had wilted greens and 50% was black and rotten. I had to pick through it to find the edible pieces. I would have sent it back, but my husband takes issue of what might happen to the rest of our dinner order. Some kitchens don't take kindly to having meals returned. I blamed the waitress, she should screen the food before serving it. The mussels were good, and the lasagna was ok, it appeared to not be home made as it used to be from the original Phils. Fast forward, in the middle of Covid 19 and all the restrictions for restaurants, only the BEST survive. And Phil's did not. They are permanently closed and had the food been the quality it used to be under the old owners then they probably could have made it. It's always sad to lose a long term family business in your town. I hope the new owners have learned from their experience.

My mother and I ordered dinner from "Phil's On 41" because we saw the marque out front advertising BOGO dinner on Tue and Thur. Since we are practicing social distancing, I called and asked if I could get dinners to go and was told yes. Upon pickup I noticed a sign at the entrance (not visible by anyone driving by) stating the bogo dinner was for dine-in only, something not stated on the sign out front. After waiting a good 10 min for someone to appear, I was finally given my order. When I told the guy I thought the dinners were bogo because of the advertisement on sign, he replied that it said "dine in only" on the marque, which was not true. He would not honor the deal. When I verified that the sign did not state that, I called Phil's and the man I spoke with was very rude, would not honor the advertised price and accused me of trying to steal when I told him I would dispute the $17.99 dinner since it was falsely advertised. Furthermore, I did not receive any soup or salad that was advertised online as included with dinner. In addition, the Chicken Marsala was the worst I have ever tasted. The flavor of alcohol was so overbearing that all other flavors were drowned out. It was literally like eating a plate of wine. We also ordered the tuxedo cake which was delicious, however, it was not as advertised on the menu. Unfortunately, I neglected to take a photo of the cake but it was very small, more like a mound of pudding and not the multi-layered cake as shown online. Overpriced food, awful customer service and unscrupulous business practices.

My husband enjoyed the cheeseburger and fries I brought to him today!My salad was delish and the onion rings were perfect!Denise is a great waitress who attends to every detail and is happy friendly!

Denise was an excellent representative of Phil's and the sweet potatoe fries were the BEST we've ever had - we will be back for sure!

Always amazing food no matter what I order. Service was excellent!

Watery pasta and over cooked steak. Should have found a chain steak house.

Seating was properly set for social distancing. The service was great. Our waiter was very informed about all the meals on the menu. The food was delicious and full filling. As for many the value( prices) was very reasonable. I will be happy to return.

Staff was very sweet and good service. Food was amazing. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Highly recommended.

Authentic polish food and the best prime rib. Very friendly staff, owner is very conscientious of customer service. Nice atmosphere

What I love about this place is the Polish food, lots of unique offerings cooked authentically. They also have some killer sandwiches at lunch. I especially like the meatball parm. Standard fare is good too but I like this place because the menu is different - many things that I can't get anywhere else.

Friday and Saturday nights are Prime Rib night at Phil’s. My wife had a wonderful polish combination dinner. Service was excellent and very tasty dishes. We also got to take to Phil, yes, Mr Retiree who work only on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. He’s still making his wonderful crab cakes!

Excellent. Great menu. I had the shrimp stir fry and my friends ordered the corn beef platter. Both we re served quickly and hot. Everything was yummy and all plates were totally finished. Server was friendly and efficient. Its a great place for lunch!!

This place was absolutely amazing. The Polish stew was great and the cannoli was to die for. The best I ever had.

Had about 40 people for our ladies luncheon. The service was fast and efficient. The food and drinks were wonderful
