Let me tell you about this hidden gem!!! The food is the freshest Italian you will find outside of Italy!! I love how you can hear the pounding of veal or chicken in the back as mama prepares your dinner! The flavor is outstanding and I will definitely be back!! It's a small place but cozy. Everything is made to order so be patient and order the antipasto!! It's like no other you will have, I couldn't get enough!! Make sure to make a reservation, I don't think they do walk-ins.

This is a hidden gem of a place. It's very small and family run. Scratch cooking at it's finest. We had a party of six and made reservations a couple of weeks in advance. We ordered the antipasto platter for our table and it was plenty for all of us. You also get bread and butter. We ordered a variety of entrees including gnocchi bolognese, eggplant parm, veal piccata, ravioli, and spaghetti and meatballs. The fettuccine served on the side is divine. We had wine that was recommended and was a perfect match for the food. Definitely check this place out.

Amazing quality, everything was made fresh and the host was extremely gracious. My daughter is a picky eater and ordered fettuccine with butter and a chicken cutlets, she loved it. We will be back. Highly recommended.

I went here with my family and it was amazing! Authentic food, great service, and a clean restaurant. Definitely recommend to people visiting Punta Gorda or anywhere near!

Have frequented Piccolos for as long as it has been in existence. The food is outstanding and is ad consistent as my late Italian grandmother's. The veal parmigiano is the best of any I have ever had.

Parking: Piccolo is a tiny facility. The parking lot is also very small. There is always adequate parking because the number of diners is limited. The biggest challenge is the restaurant is on the major Route 17 and is easy to miss by driving by before you see it.

Went here, I saw Piccolo and Cell fighting and Piccolo used Light Grenade and nearly destroyed the diner, still a good place to eat. 8/10

This was by far the BEST Italian food we've ever had. My husband is Italian and from the northeast, and we were so impressed!! The owner is extremely accommodating and generous. We came in late as we were passing by heading south on the highway, and we were so happy we did. I had the chicken marsala which was cooked to perfection. The eggplant parm and gnocchi with bolognese were fantastic. My youngest son had the spaghetti and meatballs. They were the best meatballs we've ever had!!! Everything was delicious! We ended the evening with a delectable slice of tiramisu. We live more than an hour away, but we will be back for sure. This place is amazing!!

Will not be back…reservation at 6:30PM dinner served at 9PM. They don’t care. No communication. Waste of time and money. All the hype about nothing. The food was not extraordinary. Portion size skimpy. Do not go. Better places to eat Italian food in Punta Gorda.
