The owner is someone you can tell a a true passion for his craft and it's a passion shared by the whole family. If you’re looking for incredible pizza and fresh, flavorful dishes in Punta Gorda, look no further than Pizza Gorda! Every time we visit, we’re blown away, and our recent experience was no exception.
We started with the pear salad, which was nothing short of perfection—fresh greens, juicy pears, crunchy nuts, and just the right touch of dressing to bring it all together. It was light, refreshing, and the perfect way to begin our meal.
Then came the star of the show—the Margherita pizza. From the first bite, it was clear this was something special. The crust was crisp yet airy, the sauce was vibrant and fresh, and the combination of melty mozzarella with fragrant basil made every bite better than the last. It was over the top good—simple, yet bursting with flavor in the best way possible.
To top it all off, the staff at Pizza Gorda is absolutely amazing. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do, they make you feel right at home. The service is just as outstanding as the food, making for an all-around fantastic dining experience.

Just fantastic dining experience across the board. Quick service, huge portions, and delicious food. Recommend their Caesar salad and their pizzas. The Manacotto was also nice and great flavour, but not necessarily my thing but if you like it it's a super great dish as well.

Excellent in all ways - we enjoyed the food a lot.
Went here for lunch and everything was delicious. They gave some complimentary bread with some spicy olive oil (yum). We ordered the bruschetta (the only complaint was that the tomatoes were a bit mushy, but otherwise very good), pizza ortolana (this was my favorite) and the manicotti (we all loved it).
