Most excellent experience at River City Grill tonight. Our waiter Dan, so awesome, took great care of us. Our appetizer, calamari best I've ever had. I had a shrimp dish with saffron rice and green beans so flavorful just perfect. Will definitely go back. Must try Restaurant

Wonderful experience. We got Portuguese Calamari first. Flavor full and so different from fried Calamari. My taste buds were smiling. Main entrees were absolutely delicious đ. I will go back again and bring friends with me.

We have been going to the RCG for 3 years. First, the bar is a great atmosphere where people gather for happy hour drinks and many stay to eat. Amanda and Drew are amazing. Our favorites are the Boom Boom Shrimp app - it is like tempura, not breaded, and served over a savory slaw. I love the pot roast, and my fiance' loves the bolognese. Tonight I had the tallow infused English style sirloin, amazing and well worth the price. The cheesecakes are to die for - on occasions we take one home.

Made a reservation. When we were escorted to our table, someone already seated at our table. We were put at a table back by the kitchen. It was very loud in there. Too loud to talk. Food was good, but entree didn't include salad or a vegetable. They had to be ordered separately. Pot roast was excellent. I wish it included some carrots. Calamari was good, although portion was too small for my husband. We splurged on dessert.

Well, I love this place and the food was really good but adding 20% tip for a party of 5 is not appreciated. I was a waiter for years while going to college so I always tip well. In fact most of the time I tip more then 20% But I want to tip well when the server is good.
Not when I have a waiter who scratches his head at the table ,multiple times and didnt provide good service. We had to wait a long time to order and hand him our plates and really he wasnt friendly or prompt.
I want to tip well for good service and I still would have left 15% not 20% so I wasnt that mad but its just a bad policy. A policy of doing this creates a situation where your wait staff doesnt have to be good and doesnt have to represent the restaurant well. Also, I dont know ow if the policy has changed but when I was a waiter we told the customer that we were adding a 20% tip onto the check.
So, other then this the food was great and over all people were friendly. I would definitely go again but just dont appreciate the gesture.

Very disappointing dinner. My parents brought me to dinner for my birthday with my grandparents as they frequently visit River City and rave about the entire experience. I have never been, We were a table of 7 and our server Ben was incredibly rude. I had ordered a drink myself that I did not enjoy, and sent it back for just a regular margarita. I am not sure if this upset our server because when my grandmother received her drink she said it tasted off almost like it wasnât Crown Royale. She took maybe two sips before we brought this to Benâs attention and he blatantly said I watched the bartender pour it itâs definitely crown and walk away. We were all put off and when he came back he said ânormally when you donât like something you donât drink half of itâ⊠the drink was nowhere near half gone. My mother and I both spoke up to say it was not half gone and he argued back with all of us saying he took a picture of the drink and it infact was half gone while laughing. I am beyond disappointed with the service especially because my parents regularly visit this restaurant and the food was good. Our server really left a bad taste, and not a good first impression.

Went because we were told the owner was Portuguese and they served a few Portuguese Entrées. Which they do. Food was very good but more Americanized than the traditional foods. Our server was very good and accommodating. Will definitely go back again
