Went for Christmas dinner. The restaurant is very nice, clean and comfortable. We had the boom boom shrimp for appetizer. Two of the shrimp still had the tail shell on which was an unexpected surprise…flavor was good though. I had the scallops with risotto. There is a cold citrus type sauce under the risotto which made the risotto cold. Which really ruined it for me. The risotto was mushy and cold because of the sauce. Eating a bite of scallop with the risotto made it taste better. Hubby had the fish and chips. He liked the fish, but the fries were cold and nothing special. All the reviews made us have high expectations for this meal, so our experience was disappointing.

Yhr service was very slow. Waited 40 minutes for food that was terrible. I ordered the cod with shrimp and asparagus. The cod was chewy, the asparagus was cut into small pieces , but the worst part was the lemon butter sauce that the food was swimming in . All the could taste was lemon butter. For a small piece of cod and 3 shrimp was 32.99 over priced. The waitress asked did I want something else and I said I didn't want to wait 40 minutes again for food when they weren't even busy. I will never go back and would not recommend to anybody.

Probably the best restaurant in downtown Punta Gorda! The drinks, appetizers and food were delicious. We had the spicy tiger shrimp, salmon and pumpkin cheesecake. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere inside was cozy and unique. Can't wait to return when I am back in Florida.
I wouldn't return. First, we walked in to a very strong odor in the restaurant, which was a huge turn off. We were seated and given a handful of menus to look at, which is the next red flag. From there, the drink selection is lacking. I ordered a margarita and couldn't finish it, it was awful. When the meals arrived, they were not as described on the menu. Unfortunately, I had hard rice peppered throughout my dish, making it difficult to eat, nevermind enjoy. This was our first time and our last.

Everything was excellent. If heard great things about them and never visited. It's a bit pricey for us, but it will be our go to place for Special events for sure. At our table we had Cracker steak, scallops, fish and chips and Portuguese Steak and shrimp. EVERYONE LOVED IT.
