Went for Christmas dinner. The restaurant is very nice, clean and comfortable. We had the boom boom shrimp for appetizer. Two of the shrimp still had the tail shell on which was an unexpected surprise…flavor was good though. I had the scallops with risotto. There is a cold citrus type sauce under the risotto which made the risotto cold. Which really ruined it for me. The risotto was mushy and cold because of the sauce. Eating a bite of scallop with the risotto made it taste...
Probably the best restaurant in downtown Punta Gorda! The drinks, appetizers and food were delicious. We had the spicy tiger shrimp, salmon and pumpkin cheesecake. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere inside was cozy and unique. Can't wait to return when I am back in Florida.
I wouldn't return. First, we walked in to a very strong odor in the restaurant, which was a huge turn off. We were seated and given a handful of menus to look at, which is the next red flag. From there, the drink selection is lacking. I ordered a margarita and couldn't finish it, it was awful. When the meals arrived, they were not as described on the menu. Unfortunately, I had hard rice peppered throughout my dish, making it difficult to eat, nevermind enjoy. ...
