The Lakehouse Kitchen & Bar at Babcock Ranch

We did not have a good experience. The staff seemed unorganized and not in any hurry to even acknowledge our presence. After we were seated we waited for 20 minutes and no one waited on us. So we left. Not a good first impression at all.

We have t been to Lakehouse in about a year and now I remember why. This time we went for breakfast and the Eggs Benedict was horrible. Over poached and hard. Chef said that is how he cooks and it will come out the same every time. So pick something else. Then the server started her attitude. Chef shouldn’t call himself a chef if he doesn’t know the basics of poaching eggs. Server should find a new job if she doesn’t like working with the public. Cannot wait for better options to open up in Babcock Ranch. This was my last visit to Lakehouse.

​Bland food, slow service. I will not go back. I would not recommend it. Other tables around us felt the same way.

The food has vastly improved. It was fresh, well presented, and well prepared. The waiter was so-so. He forgot what I ordered and had to come back to ask me again. He didn't come back to ask us for refills on our drinks. We had to ask for them. We were two couples and our checks were incorrectly mixed-and-matched. There were large shedding dogs allowed to come into the restaurant and then into the men's room. Just gross. Too bad.

Very disappointing experience. Our server was not attentive. Staff was standing around playing on their phones. Food took forever to come out. When it did come out, it was cold.

When we complained, the manager appeared annoyed? I would not reccomend this place. Can't wait for competitors to open

Ordered to bring home today.
Ordered a Smashburger. This was not a smashburger. It was just 2 patties of beef. As a matter of fact one patty was cooked one was very pink. It’s impossible to have any pink in a real smashburger.

We come here because they take reservations unfortunately this is the second bad experience we have had this place and we are probably not returning. (the last time the they cross contaminated my buddies wife's gluten free meal).
First; when our sever came to the table she literally stood 4' away ,it obvious she has some phobia and should not be in this business, she had someone else deliver the food but unfortunately not our drinks.
Second: she was bringing our drinks and proceeded to dump my martini all over my buddies cell and on his arm.
Third I ordered the grouper sandwich and asked if it could be blackened and was told yes. When she brought our food I took a bite and the top part of the bun was as ice cold. We called her over and told her the situation and me not wanting her to think we were being picky did exactly this. I asked her to please let me hold he hand and turned it over and placed the back on the bun. As you can imagine she was surprised and took it immediately and returned with a new sandwich about 10 plus minuets later., that guess what. When i began to eat it I discovered it was not blackened. So If we want to spend $80 for two sandwiches and a martini I think it will be elsewhere, you can and should do better!

Excellent meal and excellent job of handling a very large group of hurricane shelter workers. The food was delicious, the server efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere wonderful!

We had a great experience at Lake House Bar and Grille in Babcock Ranch! The food was solid, with a variety of options to choose from that were satisfying and well-prepared. But what really stood out was the exceptional service – the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere, overlooking the lake, added a nice touch to the meal. Definitely a great spot for a casual dining experience with top-notch service!

Delicious food, excellent drinks, Stacy was our server and she was great! Indoor seating is nice, but I prefer outdoor, which has great views of the lake, with plenty of fans to keep cool and prevent flies and mosquitos

We sat for 30 minutes and no one ever greeted us. Awful. We will never go back.

Extremely disappointed in the Food quality. One of our two meals was edible. The other one was so salty you couldn't eat it. Our waiter said the manager was going to come out to chat with us when she was free. She never came out which was very disrespectful as we did not ask for the meal to be remade or for any reduction in the bill. We didn't ask to speak to her but waited an additional 15 minutes as we were told she wanted feedback on our meals. Will not return and will not recommend to others.

We have lived in Babcock Ranch for over 3 years and have been to the Lakehouse numerous times. Food, service & quality has been up and down. Decided to give it another try and were pleasantly surprised. It was a Friday evening and we got sat at an outside table immediately. Our server Robin was amazing. She was friendly and very attentive. The appetizers and main dishes were yummy and came out quickly. Such a beautiful spot and I'm so glad they are once again doing a great job!
