The Lakehouse Kitchen & Bar at Babcock Ranch

We brought friends from New Jersey to have dinner while the band was playing and one of our favorite items on the menu shaved ribeye sandwich was what we ordered when the waiter said oh the new chef is taking it off the menu, we said what! Bring him out here... so he says OK! And he walked away and came back with the brand new head chef! He was very professional and courteous and confidently explained the reason why it wasn't cost-effective to keep that item on the menu and explained his solution....brought us out the sandwich that he will be serving instead, which was absolutely amazing.. the service there has always been good in my opinion, but I know they've received a lot of flack in the past, but I think with the new chef and the effort that's being put in There's a definite noticeable change! Keep up the good work!

Out of popular wines, at the beginning of the evening - 6:00pm. Had to order our third choice. Service was very slow. Food was mediocre. View was beautiful.

Nice casual dining. We have been there for brunch, lunch and dinner. Food and service have always been consistent. Restaurant  can be loud and hard to have a conversation at times. Still enjoyable and will continue to earn our business.

We are sad we were in a rush for an event at the field house. The food and service were great.

Terrible place to eat at. Terrible customer service all the way around. Wouldn’t recommend to eat or drink here.

Had a group of 10 for a bday celebration. Everyone from the hosts to our waiter did a fantastic, friendly, & very attentive job.Everyone was pleased with the food & speed of delivery! Atmosphere is fantastic. Thank you everyone I love the Lake House!

Ate here on 8/4/25 and while eating my meal had a mouse run past our table with all of us having seen it. When approaching the wait staff to get a manger they stated they are aware of the mouse and its something that happens all the time and they have no solution for so they have moved past it.

The food was ok at best and definitely not worth the prices, but to be brushed off about mice running around is disgusting and was never approached by a manager just an 18 year that brought me my bill to leave

I ate at this restaurant today and was absolutely shocked to see rats running through the main dining room area. What was even more concerning was how unbothered the staff seemed — no one appeared surprised or alarmed. Our waiter sent over a younger employee (who didn’t even introduce himself) and told us they were aware of the rat issue, and that an inspector had come by earlier in the day and “approved” the rats because it had rained and the restaurant is near a field. Yes, you read that right — they told us the rats were fine because of the weather and location… and then casually handed us the bill. Even more bizarre, the staff continued to defend the presence of rats the entire time as if this was a normal and acceptable part of the dining experience. To top it all off, they seated two more tables in the same area where the rat had just run through, like nothing had happened. Honestly one of the most surreal and unsanitary restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I won’t be returning — and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone until the rodent problem is actually taken seriously.

This whole community is amazing! I came here for mu bday dinner sat out side! It was so nice! Family's, dogs. Everyone having a good time. Good food!! 👍
