Beautiful place but horrible food. The place is visually falling apart… leaks in the water line by the bar and broken cappuccino machine, the waiter said we should see the kitchen! YuckAnd to think they are the only rest to eat at there in Babcock ranch.

Amazing experience! The food was outrageously delicious. We had the gator bites for an appetizer. Entrees were the blackened salmon and mushroom pappardelle with blackened chicken. Absolute perfection. Chef's kiss. We will absolutely be back!!

Unfortunately we were not able to have lunch here today. It’s not that they were too busy, they had plenty of tables outside in the shade. We were only a party of 2 and the tables were 6 & 8 seats. They refused to seat us at a big table even though there were around 5 available. We owned restaurants, not sure I understand their logic. We took our business elsewhere.

I took a few days off and headed to the other side of the state and have to say this place makes you think and remember what fla was like 20 years ago. I would give this place a nod to move to if your looking for family, fun, health and cost-effective living!! Just saying!! Food was good, weather was great, and music was fun!!!

Not only would I NOT recommend this restaurant, I would, in fact, “NEVER recommend” this establishment. I was there 2 days ago and it wasn’t my first time but likely my last. I tried contacting a manager to explain my situation regarding a meal for our group of 4 people (3 guests of mine from out of state), covering a bill of over $200 for substandard quality.Upon recommendation from our kind server, I called 3 times for any manager & never received a call back. I spoke with an employee the first time and left 3 respectful messages (not leaving specific details). They do not deserve to operate within Babcock Ranch. The atmosphere is wonderful but patrons deserves better food quality. While I mentioned specific issues to the kind server at the end of the meal to which they recommended to speak with a manager. After 3 failed attempts, their message is clear…management simply doesn’t care to respond to the revenue source of operations. Either fire the chef or simply hire one who has earned the title.

We are building in Babcock and this was our first visit to Founder's Square and the Lake House. We wanted to sit and have drinks and appetizers, and the hostess said we couldn't get a table unless we were ordering entrees. Very, very disappointed in this treatment and that our money is no good here. It was only about half full, and we probably would have spent at least $50 on drinks and multiple appetizers. Not a good welcome to Founder's Square.

The staff is always great. Live music is pretty good. Food leaves a lot of room for improvement. Presentation of the food is always good. It is just the menu. Brussels spouts are 100% deep fried grease. Nachos are weird. Burger is ok. Worse thing is the French fries are coated in some weird stuff.

Beautiful view from the restaurant but the food was just ok. I ordered the watermelon cucumber salad but it came with 5 thin slices of water melon and cucumber. A bit over priced at $16 I think. Other people in my party ordered fish burgers and they were ok. Fries were good.

It’s a shame, there are so few dining options inside the Babcock compound, this is another thing at Babcock that is not ready for prime time. They lost our reservation so we were seated outside in the overflow section. After waiting 10 minutes to get the pollen wiped off our table and chairs, I did it myself. When our burgers came (with onions we asked not be included) I had to steal condiments from another table inside the restaurant because the server ran away so fast and never came back. I’ve given up on that water I asked for.
