The setting was beautiful. We were in the shade outdoors looking over the lovely Charlotte harbor. The food was delicious. They offer a large variety of food. Would definitely eat there again.

Our server was very good, friendly and attention to detail however the cocktail service was SLOW and it actually was not very busy as our reservation was 7:45. Otherwise the experience was good!

Very disappointing dining experience. This was our first time in Punta Gorda, we were seated right when the restaurant opened at 5 PM. Ordered shortly thereafter and weren't served our meals until an hour later. Both my wife's dinner and mine were cold. We requested to speak with the manager, who told us they would make us new dinners and put us first in line, we waited nearly 20 minutes to be served our second dinner. The food was OK, the service was very much lacking with the servers only coming over a couple times throughout the entire hour and a half that we were there. An hour and a half to get served dinner is ridiculous. We talked with the general manager who offered us a $25 gift card for our inconvenience. most better dining restaurants would've offered to comp our meals. As an out-of-town guest looking to relocate to this area, We definitely won't be coming to this restaurant again

Delicious food, awesome view, tasty cocktails, and great service! What more can someone ask for? Big thanks to The Captain's Table for making a lovely night for my mother, daughter, and me!

Andrew was an excellent server. We enjoyed our meal very much. My only complaint was that the blackened fish was too salty.

The crusted Mahi Mahi was very good. The lobster sandwich was far from it. The service was very good, as it has been in the four times we have been there. We may return, but it won't be for the lobster sandwich.

Wonderful meals! We loved the food, it was all fresh and large portions. We made the reservation to sit outdoors and watch the sunset. However, the deck needs some serious updating! Just clean it, make it more presentable and act like you care about the ambience. Maybe candles on the tables outdoors (not just inside), or flowers....just something to make it look alive. Now it just looks like an after- thought. Sunset view-awesome Food-fabulous Service-lovely Ambience-sucked

Met some old time friends for lunch and had a wonderful time. The oysters were fantastic the lunch dinners were great. Cindy the waitress was outstanding, very busy but still attentive.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service my family and I received during our recent visit to your restaurant.
Upon arrival, we were waiting for the hostess to assist us, but after a short time, the supervisor, a man in a blue t-shirt, approached us. I politely requested a table, but to my surprise, he completely ignored me and did not acknowledge my request. When I asked again, he mentioned that he had to attend to guests with reservations. We had been waiting for over 10 minutes and, during this time, no one communicated with us about the situation.
What made matters worse was that the restaurant had plenty of available tables at the time. The supervisor’s demeanor was also unprofessional and rude, as he did not offer any polite response like “please wait a moment,” nor did he show any effort to accommodate us in a courteous manner.
Feeling disrespected and unwelcome, we decided not to dine at your establishment and left. This experience was incredibly frustrating, and it has left a negative impression on your restaurant.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure better customer service in the future.

Nice place to stop for lunch after walking around Fisherman's Village. It's located upstairs beside Harpoon Harry's. Service was a bit slow for a party of 4 but friendly staff that worked as a team. I do highly recommend the Chipotle Grouper Wrap & the sweet potato fries (upcharge). Note that outdoor seating sounds to be best via reservation as they did not allow this request for walk-ins when we went. We were seated along the windows with a view of the water so that was good enough in terms of our desired seating location. Pricing was fair, as well.

We came in for dinner reservation at 7.. there was an issue for reservation's it did show online it was for that day..( this was done that morning before dinner that evening) but oddly by that evening when we arrived and I gave my name they claimed they had no reservation for us..I go online and there's my reservation but not for that day but for 2 days later on a Monday??? I know I made it for Saturday..so I'd never trust the app they have " open table" to book dining anywhere again.. there was 2 front hostess a young man & a young lady..they were not very friendly or understanding but then another gentleman came over and I explained the situation and he was so helpful and I appreciated his kindness.. thank you..he sat us at a awesome table in the corner by Windows looking over the water... The waitress after 15mins finally came to the table, she was nice but definitely distracted.. we had appetizers which were the best part of the meal.. the bread tasted hot and delicious, my Captain's chowder was awesome.. the green fried tomatoes were different than what I expected but good ..after the longest wait I've ever experienced out dining the main course arrived.. what a disappointment.. the mash potatoes were cold but good.. broccolini tasted like frozen from the bag but was ok.. but the stars of each plate were definitely losers..the seafood trio a overpriced trio of the smallest most tasteless shrimp I've ever eat..no joke it looked as pathetic as it tasted.. I swear they had to be frozen and if not what an insult to FL shrimp.. the seafood platter was even worse.. the grouper was tasteless, the grilled shrimp tasted more like shriveled propane ,the scallops were small lit pieces with no flavor whatsoever....the crabmeat yuck!! tasted like canned cheap crabmeat..or substitute crab"". and ( btw I'm from a island that serves up delicious seafood so I know the difference)... it was an expensive experience with a spectacular view.. and your paying for the view for sure cause it's not the food..after 2 hour and 30min we finally got out... I wouldn't recommend going here if you like delicious food "" if your looking for a pretty view you can get that anywhere on the waterfront so save your money..I had better from fastfood McDonald's than from here..

Had a great lunch excellent service with Sara running the bar for drinks and food. Turns out she is the General Manager, she certainly sets a great example to her entire team , a professional.
