“I went with a friend and we both ordered the same thing (bacon Angus cheese burger) and the meat tasted weird. But the staff were so nice and so polite they even gave us two Hershey kisses for Christmas! It was a great atmosphere as well, surprisingly lively at 1 in the morning but it was nice and clean when we went in!“
“During our recent visit to the Waffle House in Punta Gorda, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, while my fiancé opted for two eggs, grits, and toast. Both dishes were served promptly and prepared to perfection, resulting in a very satisfying meal. The only suggestion is to put a little less butter on the grits.
The cleanliness of the restaurant was very good, however the bathrooms, while generally clean, could benefit from a more thorough cleaning in the future (floor tiles and tops of tiles on wall). Nonetheless, I felt comfortable using the facilities.
Our waitress, Christina, provided excellent service, contributing to the overall positive experience. For those seeking a reliable breakfast spot in Punta Gorda, this Waffle House is highly recommended.
Even with the $.50 per egg surcharge, the price was very reasonable. I do not mind paying the surcharge.
