First time there yesterday Feb 19th 2025. Great lunch, greens were delicious and the cornbread was superb. Had the Salisbury steak, baby limas etc. Every thing was great. Service great, etc. Highly recommend. Will be back.

Ive ordered the grouper sandwich twice and its so amazing. The fish is massive. I would never spend the same amount of money at a fast food place for a mystery fish. This place is amazing and they’re very nice, too.

We have been a few times now. I've had the prime rib and the peach glazed salmon. Everything from the entrées, sides and desserts are cooked with love and care. The serviceis outstanding. It's not a large place (which we love) but roomy enough that you aren't piled on top of each other. The owners are very sweet people, too.

I travel a lot for work and try to find local restaurants everywhere I go. Very few are a homerun like Big Papas. Service was great and the atmosphere was relaxed. Everything I had was delicious. Definitely check out the mahi mahi fish dip and grouper if you are craving fish. Definitely worth trying once then coming back around for a second visit.

We've been planning to visit Big Papa's for our son's 21st birthday for 3 months or so and it was worth the short drive from Tallahassee. Big Papa's is a homey little place right on the square in downtown Quincy. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is great. Staff is friendly and helpful. We all got steaks (and 1 pork chops that was very juicy and tender.) We'll definitely be back to sample other menu items. Our steaks were all cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. Between all 5 of us, we had various sides of mashed potatoes, bacon-wrapped asparagus, mac & cheese, and a wedge salad. Then we had to get dessert to wrap up the birthday, of course! We had key lime pie, carrot cake, and red velvet cake (that had a thin perfect layer of cheesecake in the middle!) Everything was perfect!

Quaint restaurant, not a great deal of seats, but very downtown vibe. Not terribly prompt service for drinks or food order for the few customers that were there when we arrived. Sweet tea was perfect and the butter that comes with the rolls sinful! We both had steak and it was prepared perfect and delicious! Green beans, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese flavorful and delish. Very good dinner!
