County Boys is one of those off-the-beaten-path places you usually only find through a local recommendation. It’s the kind of great secret people keep so it doesn’t get overcrowded or lose its personal touch. The food was fantastic, especially the seafood, and the service was just as good. Do yourself a favor and find this place when you get a chance.
I got the $10 catfish nugget basket, with hush puppies, and cheese grits. I added the $3 home made onion rings. This meal was awesome. You can get larger meals if you want leftovers. The atmosphere is quiet so conversation can be easily enjoyed.
My dad and I had ate here a few times back around 2005 I believe and we have talked about how good it was off and on over the years, this past weekend my wife and youngest son along with my nephew and his wife decided to give it a try again since we were in the area and nothing much had changed, I had frog legs and double portion of grits and I think everyone else had fried shrimp, everything was cooked perfectly.
