We don't eat out often, so it's special when we do. This last time Summers smokehouse was a major disappointment and we aren't likely to return after wasting $65.00. The ribs and brisket were both mostly fat and gristle, and the "meaty baked beans" were undercooked and had no taste other than the sauce they were added to. The only good thing about the entire meal was the fried okra.

Found a long hair in our food. Witnessed DOGS in the kitchen and all around the area where food was prepped. Just saw a video of staff calling a delivery driver the N word!!! They harass anyone who is attending shows at Legacy next door and took all the toilet paper out of the bathrooms so they couldn’t be used. They need to be SHUT DOWN.

Left our home in Dedtin late and made it here for dinner on our way to Gainesville. Prices were reasonable. Out of brisket. I got the tenderest pulled pork, peppery collard greens and yummy everything chees grits. He got half a chicken, yummy baked beans and fries. Huge portions that will make a great breakfast. Sat next to the fire and listened to live music. Great experience!

We've had many meals here and to-go. We are never disappointed with the food or service here! Since this is a smokehouse, they do not drown food in sauce or add anything that triggers our allergens! You don't need BBQ sauce, but their BBQ sauce is delicious.
