Absolutely 100% the best bbq In Tallahassee and surrounding areas. Hands down cannot be touched. I highly recommend the pulled pork combo with fries and a extra bbq sauce

First time here today, will not be my last. Pulled pork sandwich with potato salad, divine. I went with the house bbq sauce, did not disappoint. Great value with great portions

Very friendly staff, We had a large 20+Crew to feed and they did a great job getting us set up, took orders and the food was out hot and tasty. No complaints at all. Thank You!

The brisket and smoked sausage is so incredibly good. Despite being on the other side of Tallahassee, it is worth the drive sometimes as a treat.

Visiting town for a Cross Country event and needed lunch. Read some recent reviews and decided to try it. My daughter and I ordered the Sampler platter (for 2) and it was amazing. 1st it could feed a family of four and still have leftovers. 2nd The taste and quality were superb, great flavor and perfectly cooked. 3rd the staff. We were there around 2 so kind of off hour but the waiter the manager and the own all came over to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Owner ever offered a $.25 tour (lol). Fourth and final was the ambiance, was decorated with cool and unique items that make it a perfect smokehouse. The only thing that could have made it better would be having more time to hang out with some live music on their really cool stages (1 indoor and 1 outdoor). Highly recommended for anyone looking for good bbq with a true smokehouse feel.

Nestled just outside of Tallahassee, this little BBQ joint that sits up on a hill is a great little stop when you are just outside of town. As with any southern style barbecue joint it definitely had the decorations and the feel of a traditional Smokehouse with kitschy decor, subtle hints at Old Country establishments and the signs that one would typically pick up at the markets of a Cracker Barrel. The food was highly recommended by a friend and so I ordered the brisket platter on his recommendation. The servings are definitely generous and the brisket itself was good although not the most tender brisket I have ever had. The fries were very okay and the collard greens could definitely have used some additional spice as it was a little on the Bland side. The slice of garlic toast you get is also pretty much just a toasted piece of Wonder Bread with a little bit of garlic butter on it. There was plenty of seating as well as plenty of parking and the overall feeling of it was fine. The barbecue sauces were pretty good but I am not a huge fan of mixing sweet and hot and I was not crazy about the fact that the hottest barbecue sauce they had was Peach flavored. All in all I had a pretty good experience and I definitely enjoyed my food and if I was invited back by a friend or a group of people I would definitely come but I don't think I would come here by myself again.

Stoped.in on the way home from st george. The food was over the top and the staff was off the chain. We had our dog with us so.was hopping for outdoor seating. They let us sit inside where our dog in the booth with us. If we make back that way we will be back again. Highly recommend

Excellent food and service. They even made sure our dog had water. Would highly recommend this place. I had the catfish that was cooked perfectly, my partner had chicken also great. The portions were large at a great price. The bar next door was also great to visit. Will definitely be going back

Summers Smokehouse is an absolute hidden gem. If you're traveling west of Tallahassee, this place is a MUST STOP. The $7 Pulled Pork Sandwich is almost big enough to feed a family. The brisket is beyond incredible; it's perfectly trimmed and pointed, and smoked to perfection. The homemade fries are also out of this world, and the atmosphere is exactly what a smokehouse should be. We will definitely be stopping in anytime we pass by here from now on.

Loved the atmosphere with the band playing and an elderly couple dancing was the sweetest thing. Highly recommend.

Just passing through Tallahassee and really enjoyed this place . We meant to go to 4rivers but accidentally went to the wrong bbq spot and glad we did! Fun vibes, food comes out very fast , a lot cheaper than 4river and the food is good ! Also the service is very friendly.
