Tusker House is inside Animal Kingdom, so you need a theme park ticket to get in. Meet characters like Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Mickey, and Goofy! It's a massive buffet, all-you-care-to-enjoy. Fresh salads with many different veggies, fruits, and salad dressings. Cooked grains and beans. Everything is extremely delicious. Vegan and allergy-friendly dishes are marked (ask for the allergy menu), and if you want, staff will literally walk you through the entire buffet to explain exactly what you can have.
Another great character dinner at Disney.
Have done the breakfast now a couple times. There is always lots to eat and of course their guava juice.
Neil was doing our tables and super friendly. Congrats on 35 years with Disney Neil!

My favorite restaurant throughout Disney World. Great food with strong flavors, attentive service, and fun character interactions.

The atmosphere and especially the characters were great, but I got sick from the food. I’m not sure exactly what it was, maybe the undercooked poached eggs.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Reservation
I was really looking forward to our character dining experience at Tusker House, but unfortunately, it fell far below expectations. Very far below! Despite having a confirmed reservation, our assigned time was not honored, and we were left waiting far longer than reasonable. The check-in staff was not particularly welcoming, making the process even more frustrating, we arrived early and she was very dry and acid with us.
The waiting area was uncomfortable and not suitable for families, which is disappointing given that this is supposed to be a magical Disney experience. Once finally seated, the overall experience did not make up for the stress of the long wait and unorganized system. The characters barely stopped by our table to see the child.
For the price and the promise of a special dining experience, I expected much better service and efficiency. Unless major improvements are made, I would not recommend this restaurant, as it does not align with the high standards expected at Disney.
While they offered a compensation on the bill, after the complaint, it does not erase the terrible experience. There is no way to make up for the wasted time and the unnecessary stress we went through.
Disney should be ashamed to have this restaurant on their property. Unprofessional staff, endless wait times, and a miserable experience overall. An absolute disaster. If you value your time, money, and sanity, book somewhere else.

Awful, I wouldnt feed my dog any of the food served at Disney. Waffle house is probably 20 steps above this garbage...oh and it's expensive, like they have you believe you are eating filet mignon with these prices.

Everything here was great! The characters come by multiple times and hug the kids, sign autographs, and just have fun with the kids. The food was amazing, very delicious and was not crowded at all. They have a very good system here!

Table service restaurant in the Africa area of Animal Kingdom in Disney World. Great character buffet breakfast. Currently $49/adult and $33/child (under 3 free). The characters make several rounds to each table and look so cute in their safari costumes. There’s a nice variety of food and they keep the POG juice coming. Don’t skip the overnight oats, they’re amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

Definitely a place to go and eat all you want and get all the major disney characters that come to your table and take photos and do autographs while you eat. Super fun, and have a guide for food allergies. They had gluten-free desserts but went above and beyond and had gluten-free cookies in the back they brought out for me. Highly recommend
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options, ask the server
Parking: You get all the major disney characters to come up to the table and sign autographs and take pictures highly recommend

Food was great. Ambiance was unbelievable. Character dining experience was absolutely fantastic. Our kids couldn't wait for Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy to come back to the table. They must have come back to our table at least 5-6 times during our dining experience. The waiter was awesome. The head chef, Raffa came out to address my wife and mom's dietary restrictions and brought out special meals for them. Definitely a must do!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegetarian, vegan
Kid-friendliness: Character dining was the best.
