My family was recently vacationing in Orlando, FL, and we visited Disney's Animal Kingdom. We made early dinner reservations and it was delicious! The character experience was wonderful for our small children. They loved it! The service was awesome! Our waiter, "Justin" was super helpful with suggestions on the drinks and food. I had the "Lost on Safari" and my husband had one of the African beers. My drink was strong but good. The food was really good, but it has been a long time since I've gone to a buffet. I don't really like buffets because, I don't feel like I get my money's worth because, you can't eat but so much food. I get full after eating one plate. So it's a waste of money for me. With all of that said, the food was good and I left stuffed.

This started off terribly we made reservations for our group which was 15 in our family. They split us up into 2 groups and put us on separate sides of the building. After we finally got sat down, the characters started to come by. After 2 characters came by a worker came up to us and told us that our son who has an intellectual disability was being too rough with the characters. He was not though, he was just very excited. There was no hitting or anything. He just wanted to hold their hand. We also ate at chef Mickey’s and there was no problem. He acted the same way he did there. No one said anything. He was excited and touching their hands and yelling with excitement. He is also 4. So the worker at the Tusker house told us the character can no longer come over by him. So we had to watch him reach and try to interact with the characters and get heart broke as the other kids were able to. The workers stood by our table and watched us like we were criminals. I would never recommend this place especially for anyone who has a child with a disability to anyone. Terrible experience we payed over 700 for a meal and we were treated terribly. They ruined our last day at Disney World.

The food was great. After having survived on burgers and Ceasar salad for 4 days, we hit Tusker House Restaurant. The buffet spread and the exemplary service was what our souls needed. There were just too many dishes to try out and 10 different desserts to choose from. They had something for every pallette. The icing on the cake were the Disney characters. They kept the atmosphere festive throughout. It was truly a magical experience. Well worth the dollars. Highly recommended.

This is a character dining meal located in Disney's Animal Kingdom, where each table gets visited by Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Daisy. All areas of this restaurant are not created equally. We were placed in the furthest corner of the restaurant near the emergency exit (minus a star). Our server was nice and friendly. The characters were delightful, but Goofy was the standout favorite. The buffet was African inspired among classic dishes. There were options for everyone. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed my time at Tusker House.Dietary restrictions: Please inform your hostess or server of any dietary restrictions

It is quite an experience and beautiful setting. The best thing was the attention, very concerned and the waiter spoke English and Spanish.Also excellent for taking photos with the characters.
We reserved a character breakfast and I don’t know if it’s because we were seated near the doorway but most of the characters walked right past our table. I saw several other patrons walk over to take photos with them but when I tried to join I was stopped by the character handlers and told they were on rotations to each table and to wait. We waited more than an hour for Donald (the character my son wanted to see) and we watched him pass our table twice. Our server tried to tell them to stop but they shot him down too. Ultimately they told me to talk to a manager, who told us we could come back in the afternoon to see him.Just be prepared. It was a $200 buffet for a 7-year-old, 10-year-old (they charge as adults) and two parents. It’s a “75-minute experience” so if your kids will sit for breakfast and eat more than one Mickey waffle it might be enjoyable. Just be sure you’re not getting your buffet when the characters come by!

Great food, excellent service, and a super fun time enjoying characters with our little one. The jambo dance was so much fun, and our waitress Juli was exceptionally attentive and kind. Best food at any Disney buffet we tried on our trip. Definitely would come back!

This was amazing, we will definitely be returning whenever we are at animal kingdom because the dishes were delicious, the characters were amazing and my husband loved the flavors. Unfortunately the salmon was raw, luckily I tasted it before my 7 year old eats it and boy it was absolutely raw. Looks like it wasn't even given anytime on the stove. I informed the waiter who then send the chef to the table. The chef apologized that it was raw and he gave complementary dairy free ice-cream. Not happy that I ate raw salmon but over all everything else was amazing. Check your food before eating
