Our first visit today for a late breakfast. There's more than ample seating here but what really makes this place is the owner, Mark. He knows everyone and I've never seen an owner more involved in running a business. He gets right in there constantly helping through the whole service and that's, what I am sure, makes this place key. We were seated quickly, waiting for a booth to be cleaned right away. I asked if the orange juice was fresh squeezed and was told yes. I was delighted. However, it was not when I got it. Not a huge deal but why say yes, if it isn't? Our food was served quickly and I received my grits without the ordered cheese so it swiftly was whisked away to be added. When it returned it was just sprinkled on but not melted. Ok, not an issue again but would have been nice if they took the time to melt it. Luckily the grits were hot and I tried melting it the best I could, stirring it up. A plus is the corned beef hash is real corned beef. Not from a can. The biscuits and gravy were decent and the french toast with challah bread was nicely done. The staff is friendly and I'm sure we'll be back to enjoy some corned beef, pastrami and brisket to see how that fares. My only big negative is the restrooms, once inside, smelled like sewerage. They were clean but that smell is awful. Luckily you don't get that smell beyond those doors but it's never a pleasant aroma.

Revisited Hilary's with my son after a four year absence. As always...greeted and seated by the owners son. Very good service and food. Don't miss the Royal Deli Reuben or the Royal Scramble!!

This is such a great family restaurant. It’s my son’s favorite breakfast spot!!! Staff is so friendly and manager visits the table every single time I have been here. Highly recommend.

After a four year absence, I was in town visiting my son. One place I mentioned I wanted to go to was Hilary's. I was so glad we did!! Like in the past, we were greeted by the son of the owner, who is extremely friendly. Another waitress came by to take our drink order and then the son returned to take our order. I ordered the Royal Deli Reuben and my son ordered the Royal Scramble. Great choices!! The Royal Deli Reuben is stacked with the most tender corned beef and pastrami I have ever had! The Royal Scramble was equally impressive in both quantity and taste. We both took half our meals home for later on. Hilary's is a 'Don't miss' in Royal Palm. This is down home, Mom & Pop food at it's best!!

Don't get me wrong it was good, but the "overstuffed" sandwiches were about half the size of the photos in their advertisements, and in the menu. When I mentioned it to my server he said it's because of the seasonings and the way they cook it lol.Parking: That's in a shopping plaza, so there's plenty of free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: It's in a shopping center with plenty of ramps leading up to the sidewalk that goes into the restaurant.

Staff was great and friendly. Never had to ask for a refill. We had a mini-reunion for guys that used to work in Brooklyn together. It wasn’t the first for us, and it won’t be the last. We will return.
