I LOVE that a place like this is so close by. It's super cute, has a great vibe, and the staff is attentive. I have gone here 2 times on a date night and had a girl's night here too. I would give it 5 stars except the food is never consistent. Well, the fries are and they are the bomb. I've gotten turned wine twice. Broken beer cheese soup and a meh burger. I asked for medium rare and was told because of the bacon they suggest getting it cooked to a higher temp. I agreed and the burger was raw in the center. Ick. The charcuterie board is a win and I love being able to customize it to my preferences. I'm a 3 strikes and you're out kinda girl. I actually feel kinda guilty for leaving 3 stars because I wanted to love it so much!

First time here and I’ll be back soon. Service and food were both enjoyable. I had a grilled cheese and tomato which had 4 different cheeses on it. Delicious. I just wanted to make a suggestion. With cooler weather approaching, maybe they could buy a couple more tables for outdoor dining or possibly put a couple of two tops outside. ?

The owners not only serve up gluten-free, vegan options but make the best homemade deserts! This is not a chain! The owners are on site everyday cooking your meal from scratch and serving it with a warm welcome smile. You feel like home every time you go. Family friendly or comfortable enough to go grab a quiet dinner on your own. During the pandemic, Lisa made to go meals that were amazing! My favorite was the homemade tray of meat lasagna with fresh garlic bread a big salad AND a bottle of my favorite Jam Jar wine! How can you ask for more?!

Nice place to go in Wellington. Great service. My only suggestion would be that the fillet does not need both Demi glaze and blue cheese. One or the other is great.

Terrible food. The dish I ordered is the exact dish I buy at Costco for a quick meal. Our table was positioned so I could see into the kitchen, and I actually saw then using Kirkland frozen foods that they claimed was hand made.

Hubby and I ate dinner here tonight at the recommendation of our daughter. We will definitely be going back. I had the steak tips tortellini Alfredo and hubby had the Chicago beef sandwich. Both were extremely good. We also ordered the fried pickles. They were fantastic! Everybody was so friendly, and the owner came over and talk to us for quite a while. She even suggested a couple of beers we might like and she was spot on with her recommendations. Can’t wait to go back and try something else on the menu

Oak Bistro is the greatest place ever. My wife and I go there alone just to have some quiet time together and we also get together with friends and come here. The food is made fresh and it is always amazing. The Chicago Beef and the OAK's Bacon Burger are definitely a must have. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is great also. Lisa, Brian and Gage and the whole rest of the crew are awesome and they are all so friendly. You won't get that "we don't belong here" feeling like you get at other places in other small towns. I would give it ten stars if I could. We have never been disappointed. Everyone needs to give this place a try and I know you will love it and go back many more times. Thanks to everyone at OAK for giving us such a great place to get away. See you soon. :)

Food was good but there system for handling a party of 14 was unacceptable. Food service was sporadic and incomplete. Electronic devices work ok for small parties but become cumbersome if used incorrectly with large parties if you cant remember who get what.
