Friendly service and great food! Would definitely recommend it. You will have to wait for your food, but if you're not in a rush, it's worth the wait.

Easy to find in a large plaza, Thai Basil brings Asian food to an area that really lacks it. Most of the plaza is empty which is sad to see. Walking in, the host stand is way too close to the door. A bit awkward when another party is walking in with you. Luckily we were seated pretty quickly. The restaurant is not aesthetic and not much detail has been put into the dining room appeal. However, the food and price points do make up for it. We ordered an appetizer and a soup and they hit the table fairly quickly. The fresh rolls were great! The menu said it's created with teriyaki chicken but you can't really taste any flavor with the ground chicken they put inside. There's also carrots and bean sprouts accompanied with a light dipping sauce. The Tom Kha soup was thick but delicious. Our two main entrees were great. I ordered the singapore noodles. It was a bit saucier than I'm use to but I liked the concept of ordering a dish and adding your choice of protein inside. Our server brought our check to us at the perfect time and we were able to be in and out for dinner. I thought the food was pretty good for the area.

This place was like a hole in the wall. The decor was very very outdated and uncomfortable seating. Usually that wouldn’t bother me because sometimes that means the food tastes more authentic and better. However, that was not the case here. Pad Thai was mediocre and the meat was low quality and tasted old. I was hoping I could come back here since it’s convenient but it’s just not worth it. However the prices are cheap so if you are looking for cheap bite , it’ll do the job.

I don't know why I waited so long to try this place. The yellow curry is bomb! I'll be back again soon. And Amy is so nice!

Well, I guess 4.5 stars in Florida is equivalent to a NY 2... Spring rolls were thin, dry and basically stuffed with vermicelli noodles. No vegetables. Firecracker fish was odd, where was the fish. It was all breading, some odd sauce and blah. This dish was really a joke for nearly $20. Not spicy. Drunken noodles were watery and strange. Not very good. Panang curry was decent, like other reviews said, but I wouldn't say anything truly special. Oh well. Waitress was friendly and nice. Decor was cool. Sadly the food was a disappointment.

My new favorite Thai restaurant, and we eat Thai a lot. Went with my son and daughter-in-law for dinner. Had the khao soi, the nam sod and the lemongrass curry and everything was so fresh and delicious. The only Thai restaurant that ever maybe topped this was one in Maui.

What a hidden gem! The food is incredible, and Amy is so passionate about what she prepares. My family and I have dined here on two occasions and have been blown away by the food. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed Calamari, Steamed Dumplings, Chicken Satay and Chicken Wings for appetizers. Our main courses have included Chicken Pad Thai, Panang Curry, Meatball Jungle Noodle and Spicy Fried Rice. Everything has been scrumptious! This is our new favorite restaurant!

Fabulous hole in the wall Thai bistro. Delicious, fresh food. Piping hot with authentic flavors. Amy is delightful, friendly, and helpful. She provides thoughtful and careful gluten free options. Would highly recommend. We are returning very soon.

Went a week ago with my son and daughter-in-law and we eat Thai a lot. We had khao soi, nam sod and lemongrass curry with shrimp. The lemongrass came from the owner's garden. Everything was so fresh and delicious. They brewed fresh jasmine tea and served it in a mug instead of a small cup. The best Thai food I've had since I was in Maui. The owner waited on us and she was so nice. I'm going back again and again.

The Tom Ka Gai Soup and Pad Thai my husband ordered were both delicious. I order Spring Rolls and Drunken Noodles which were not as good as the other dishes. Spring tools are very thin with not much filling and the noodles were not as flavorful as other places I have had it. Service was very good. The place is in a strip mall that is a bit dated.

The reviews we read before visiting were really positive with one or two negatives. This is an authentic Thai restaurant where the food is the focus. I had the best Thai food in a long time and the owner Amy was delightful.. Many of the ingredients come from her own garden and were superbly tasty and fresh. We will be going back and I strongly recommend.

Absolutely delicious Thai basil with chicken. The owner is lovely and the food was really good. The owner grows ghost peppers and makes a ghost pepper oil that is outstanding. The vegetables in my dish were cooked perfectly and the onion was great. Very flavorful and I could eat that daily. Next time I will try something different. This is a small restaurant and not fancy inside. The place is clean and the food is really good. It takes a lot for me to give 5 stars but they deserve it. The quality and flavor of food rivals other Thai restaurants that I have reviewed and their prices are lower.See you next Monday for bar poker across the parking lot. We are eating here instead of at our venue. Ate here twice more and had red curry with vegetables and chicken. The ghost pepper oil, the best.April 2023 Update: Six months ago I tried Thai Basil and I still love it. The owner, Amy is lovely and the food is as good as you will find anywhere. See you next Monday.

This is our favorite restaurant! The ramen is amazing and is magical when you are sick. The other things that we have had here are always great and our 5 year old even really likes the food. And he is picky! I recommend 100%

My friend and I just had a scrumptious home cooked meal and we will be returning again and again. We choose to eat vegetarian, and the options are plentiful and absolutely delicious. I had the panang curry, which is Amy's own curry recipe, and it was out of this world. Support this lovely business; you'll enjoy the food so very much. Thank you to Amy and to Shilo.
