Visited yesterday. Not a separate business, inside existing business Patagonia Restaurant and Tiki (address 675). No one was there. After walking through the restaurant, was pointed to an exit door to where the Tiki stood.Will I return? No way. Enough said.Address of 685 (Google Maps) is misleading.

We stayed at this hotel for a total of two weeks. Good points: Location: It is situated close to several grocery stores, a nice equestrian neighborhood, and a main artery that makes accessing attractions convenient. Front office staff: Helpful, friendly, and efficient. Their deluxe suites have balconies that overlook a large pond. There are birds to see especially in the early morning and at dusk. Their suites have windows and doors that open so you can get good airflow. Their suites are well appointed with a full- size fridge, a microwave, and some dishes. Bathrooms have a tub and shower combo. Beds are comfortable. A coin laundry is on site, which is very convenient for longer stays. There is ample parking so parking close to the room is easy. The ground seemed safe, and the hotel has after- hours security staff. Prices for the suites are reasonable for what they offer. Wellington during the high season is extremely expensive, and this place is a good value overall. Things that could use improvement: We initially stayed in a regular room. There is no other way than to say the room stank terribly of something, and, on top of it, it was not cleaned well. Our socks became dirty just walking around in it! It may not have been typical for all their standard rooms, but that room was simply unacceptable at any price. We are glad we gave the suites a try, but I would recommend checking any room before committing to it. The furniture in the rooms is rather dated. Curtains are tired. The suite balconies could use some cleaning around their rails and corners. The sound proofing is not the best. For most of our stay, the other guests were considerate, and it was quiet. A couple of nights some people partied in the parking lot, and it was very loud. Security came, but it took a while for the noise to abate. So, overall, based on my experience, I would recommend the hotel’s suites but not their regular rooms. If you are looking for a budget- friendly, serviceable hotel, this will likely do nicely for you. If you are looking for even a hint of luxury, I recommend staying else where.

It was nice to pull up and enjoy good food and cold drinks. Wish there was a boat dock to access this place easily from the waterway.

The location was great for my visit in the area. The staff were very pleasant and helpful upon my arrival. Yes this hotel is outdated on the outside, the room I had was good to sleep and work remotely for work purposes. No distractions. The room was clean, all essentials were available for me to eat and relax. The furniture brand new and the king bed was very comfortable. I was here 4 days, for the price / location due to work purposes only I would stay again.

Room was dated and dirty. TV did not work and was told had to wait until morning before being fixed even though we were staying only one night. Red stains on mini fridge. Not even sure the room was cleaned prior to our arrival. Housekeeping banged on door at 8:00 a.m. in the morning.

Everything in the area was sold out but this place, now we know why. Needs to be taken down. Too dirty to clean. Room are large with a fridge and microwave but I would not eat in the room… I can only imagine the roaches waiting to pounce. The check in/out area is outside behind a three in plexiglass bank window. Nice way to start?

Do not stay here. It is a run down motel to say the least. TV did not work, no signal. Called front desk and was told had to wait until next day for service. Cheap motel and not worth it. Front desk service is non existent and a crappy place to stay. Find another place.

Very friendly people & staff.Great atmosphere! Sitting outside looking at the lake.One can make friends quite easily! I met lots of very nice people!

Couldn’t ask for more. Restaurant and tiki bar on site, restaurants in walking distance, pool, clean spacious rooms. Close to major roads. I was pleasantly surprised. Much more then looks from road. TVs at tiki bar great for watching sports, Argentina steakhouse on site, dominos pizza on site, racetrack right there, KFC out front got it all

I’ve stayed here 4 times and do so because of location and because allows pets. The rooms are big with a separate kitchen living area that can be separated from bedroom by door. Nice if your travel partner gets up early and you want to sleep in. Take my dogs out the sliding doors to lawn set up with dogs in mind. Rooms are clean and cleaning staff is great. Not a four or five star motel but fine for a few nights when traveling with dog(s).

I love the outside bar but it needs to be bigger. You would have more business if it was. Love bartender Don. 😄

When we got to the hotel, we were given a room with no place for our daughter to sleep. Upon entering the room, and realizing this, I immediately called the front desk. I explained this to the front desk manager who answered, and instead of apologizing, she asked if we touched anything. Seriously? We were told that they were booked and that we would be given an upgrade for all of the trouble. No, we got the room that we originally booked. The front desk manager also was making rude comments about my husband in the lobby of the hotel without realizing my daughter and I were within earshot of her conversation. The next room was very spacious. The hotel is very clean. The pool needs to be fixed. There are orange traffic cones over things are in need of repair. This is a safety issue, especially for children. The front desk manager needs a course in hospitality.
