This place is all about location and being by the water. Super casual - pull up in your boat, wear your bathing suit - it's all good. Menu has a nice variety like what you'd expect from a little water-side hut-style restaurant. The food is good. We had fried shrimp and crab cakes, both good. Fair amount of beverages available. Service was prompt and friendly. This isn't a five start restaurant and they're not trying to be. Come here for the view and relaxing atmosphere. Forgot to take pics of the food, we were hungry. We'll be back - by boat :)

While waiting there were at least two parties who came after me and were served before me. I orders coconut shrimp and crab cakes. The coconut nut shrimp were burnt and rubbery (way over cooked) the crab cake was so mushy you couldn’t even pick it up without it falling apart. I return bed everything and was told they could fix it. I immediately said no because both waitress tried to convince me the food was ok even after looking at it themselves (I’m posting pictures too).I’m warning you if you enjoy good food go anywhere but here.

One of our top favorite spots. Food is incredible especially the shrimp tacos. We usually order around 2PM chef is awesome. The service is 100% on top of things, Staff is fun & make sure you are happy being there and super accommodating. Love it there.

The food is really good, service could use some work and the kitchen definitely needs help but we really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately this time we didn't get to eat but it was for a tournament and the kitchen was of course getting the paying customers food out first.

Awesome waterfront view. Good selection of food and 4 menus for kids. Our service was also great. I think they just have to put some more foldable umbrellas for the tables outside to make it comfortable on a very hot day like today.

Very nice atmosphere, good food and sunshine.... The only thing that concerned me was keeping the condiments outside on the tables in the hot FL sun- vinegar was very warm, as well as the ketchup...... My daughter's gotten sick before from using products, not from here but from other places that do this, we've only found a few places that do this, and I understand it's more work for the servers, definitely easier to keep them out in the table, but for the restaurants that bring them out when needed tend to be better quality condiments.... And we've had no issues of upset bellies.We had the fried fish sandwich and kids chicken fingers with french fries. Both were good.

Previously Captain's Quarters Dockside Bar & Grille, NOW HOOKS…This is evil ( in a delicious kinda way). What else did they put in this wrap to make it taste so good? Oh onions. Bacon fries were the perfect combination of cheese and bacon for the perfect flavorful taste. Gator bites were tasteful and not “rubbery”. The dip served with Sweet potato fries made a perfect combination. Shrimp PoBoy rated above prev tried elsewhere. Key lime had the right amount of tangy to enjoy. Outdoor seating near water and dog friendly. Our waitress Alicia was exceptional personality and service! Diedra came over and said high and loved on our pit pup. The person who runs this ship, whatever she is doing with running this restaurant, has put it in our fav places to eat list.

One star because I couldn’t give zero. This was our first time coming and it was a huge disappointment! We followed the signs to be seated by an overwhelmed server, who told me who she’s never had a wait time that long. We got there and took 20 minutes to be seated. After waiting 20 mins to be seated by the same overwhelming server without menus, said she would come back and wipe down the table, overwhelmed server comes back after 15 mins of seating us and forgot to give us menus comes back with menus, then attempted to place the menus on the table until we said it wasn’t wiped down she finally wiped it down and left. Our waitress didn’t come take an order for drinks for about 10 minutes then finally brought our drinks back and placed our food order. Keep in mind we arrived at 5:45PM. Everything we ordered was fried except two burgers and a wrap. We waited 30 mins for some cheese sticks come out and assumed our fried pickles would come out as well. We didn’t get our table of food until about 7:45PM and it was a huge disappointment when you order the seafood platter you assume you get the same amount of each item but that wasn’t the case. This was the first and last time we will ever visit this place they need Gordon Ramsey badly. It doesn’t take 2hrs to get fried food. Pictured was seafood platter but had 4 shrimp, 7 pieces of fish while the whole plate filled with calamari.

Seafood bisque is truly amazing!!! Appetizer shrimps fantastic, and if you get lucky and they have Italian cream cake - it's out of this world!!! Smoked brisket bowl is very nice too.
