after trying many Filipino food spots around Tampa and st. Pete I wasn't really impressed..then Chicha Hut opened 3 miles from my house and it has been the best Filipino food I've had since my mom was able to cook.. needless to say we eat there a lot and are never disappointed. Her food is delicious 😋

Food was good but the prices are nuts. I was driving so really not paying attention to pricing.

Best authentic Filipino food nearby! This is a food truck. The owners are polite and kind. They also have a shaded area with plenty of tables and fans where you can sit and enjoy your food. The prices are very reasonable as well.

I wanted to eat some Filipino breakfast this morning so we drove about 35 minutes only to find the place empty. Called their phone and was told she’ll be over around 10am. Got back to the place at 1015am, not a soul in sight. So we left. She leaves a message on my hubby’s phone @ 1126am that she’s at the food truck. NEVER coming back to try this place.

Today was my first visit. I had the fresh watermelon juice and the lechon kawali. 10/10 delicious! I'll be back to try other things. Such a friendly woman too!!

Sisig is delicious also hand the special lumpia with fresh watermelon juice. I'm definitely recommending to friends Also, glad to see a new truck in the area other than tacos.
