Sunset Grill and Beach Bar

Poor experience. It was very loud inside, with loud rock blaring over the speakers, which made for a poor Valentine's Day dinner. The food was average, the drink we ordered was made WAY too strong and was not enjoyable, and the waiter walked off very quickly every time he'd visit our table. Disappointing result, as we enjoyed our first visit here last year.

Wonderful meal. Place was packed and we were a part of 8. Service was great and everything was fabulous! Great experience! And you can't beat the sunset!!!!

The food was perfect, service was impeccable (thanks Gina!!!) and the value was great. We will be back again for sure.

the best part is the view from the restaurant! Server Brandon is excellent and did a great job! Food was good/Ok. Nothing spectacular nor was it horrible! just Ok with a touch of good. It's like a big dining hall No decor very plain. Unbecoming for a water front beachfront dining experience. we wanted to try since remodeling. It is a better choices menu. But it's NOT an experience at all. Just Ok. We are so hoping that Sunset Grille makes it a top destination in Ruskin to compete with circles. Bt they are so far from that kind of experience. Please, get it together. make it more BOUJIE!

Cannot beat the view of three cruise ships sailing by as well as a beautiful sunset!! Our server Amanda was wonderful and the roaming photographer was so kind to take our picture with our cell phone!! While our entrees were delicious, we were very disappointed that the Vegetable Pot Stickers were taken off the appetizer menu. We settled on the Fried Green Tomatoes which were good, but not as tasty as the Pot Stickers. Please bring them back!!

When we went for lunch yesterday, the music was very loud by a DJ and was almost like heavy metal. We did ask to be moved to a table far away from the band and we were accommodated and they also asked him to turn it down lower, so our experience was very good.

Just went for the first time tonight and everything was fantastic! Food, live music, and the views!!!

Very friendly very nice place to go. Have the water right there while you eat to watch good music and very friendly waiters. Good food as well. Will recommend

The food and service was excellent however the inside dining room needs a lot of work. We've been in several times this past year and it seems they're always in the middle of construction or something. The dining room needs a lot of work. It seems it's all about outside dining. No atmosphere inside.

The food was delicious and the whole experience very good, as they lived up to their name with the view of a spectacular sunset. Suggestions for improvement: a selection of oysters with more substantial meat and a proper fork to eat them, right glasses to serve prosecco and wine, and reduce the loud noise in the inside dining area. They have a very casual atmosphere but those improvements would make the experience more enjoyable. My husband and I did like it and are already planning to go back.

Great find! It lived up to its name with a beautiful sunset. Food was yummy and the service was friendly and responsive. The calamari appetizer was amazing and the key lime pie is a must try! Definitely will be back.

We went early on New Years Eve and The Sunset Grill was filled. The service and the food were excellent. The dining area has a nice ambiance. We were impressed that they could look after a full house so well. This is definitely one of the best dining spots in the area.

DO NOT EAT INDOORS. Our reservation was at a time when it was very slow. Hence, there were only three other tables in the entire restaurant. The acoustics were so bad that we couldn't hear the server talk to us when we placed our order. It was impossible to have an ordinary conversation at our table. When I mentioned this to the server, she said it was a common complaint and management was well aware of it. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants... But no more. The renovations have ruined the ambience.  So very sad.... I will try outdoors when the weather allows.

We had the best time at Sunset Bar and Grill. Mary was our server and she didn't disappoint. She was super attentive and friendly! We would definitely go back!

Will was great! Try the blue cheese chips!
