Olmeca Mexican Food

Hayer Sunday 10/11/2024 I went with my wife to try this place called Taqueria Olmeca in Ruskin.
For my wife to eat something with pleasure and tell me the food was delicious, it is truly that what I thought was corrupt, because what I ate was delicious, very well prepared, very well cooked.
I loved that when we arrived I saw a fairly large group of American motorcyclists eating and believe me as a cook at Chili's preparing all the food for 5 years, I know how demanding these people are in their taste in food and that they love Mexican food , that group was pleased with what they consumed.
There is a person in that place who was very kind to me, we talked about the business, about His food. But this man named Lucio, I hope that is how his name is written, was very kind to me and my wife, as he was to us, so was the treatment of the other employees of the place.
So I recommend 100% La Taqueria Olmeca, oh and the prices are very modest, compared to other places that have these facilities, such as a bar apart from drinks, tables and chairs to eat, ample parking and a very humble and hard-working staff. .
Lucio, you won us over as clients, excellent customer service. Blessings.

Not the best place for Mexican Food. I don’t recommend this place at all. Atmosphere is great but the food is not as good. Torta was tasty, quesabirrias barely had any cheese and it wasn’t even melted. Tacos were horrible.

I ordered a burrito and shrimp tacos, the food was prepared quick and the presentation was great. Food was on point ☝️

Overpriced. First time stopping by and asked what was the price for each taco and guy said it was $4 a taco?!? I left and went to Garcia Taco where they are only $2 a taco

The food is 10/10. Amazing! Just make sure you get there in time because your favorite menu items might be sold it if you're too late.

Excellent food, we go out of our way to visit.

They've really been growing their area, and we like the enhancements.

Updated, went today for birria tacos, didnt realize they made them here on the tiny corn tortillas which is not of my liking. I literally came home and emptied the contents out and put it in one flour tortilla. The beef was not dipped in the consomme, like what?? I did have a side of connsome though to be fair. Ive had them at several places over the past weeks and they were all crispy flour and delicious. These today were not good. AND, there were no prices displayed i had to ask where were the prices, the guy only replied "no" and shook hsi head as if i should know them already? Not only that, the person didnt tell me my total I know its not very expensive but you should have prices posted and and share the total with customers. He handed me a little square card receptacle, when before i could see the total on the screen and enter tip etc. None of that today no shared checkout screen. What is going on? Today was a very different experience from when i have gone in the past. The veggies were fresh as per usual though, its unfortunate that i had to move the filling to a flour tortilla though and the fresh veggies ended up being heated in this process. :-( such a disappointment today.

Quick service and really good tacos!! We will definitely be back.

Always fresh and delicious. Olmeca is my favorite road-side oasis of delicious Mexican food every time I'm in Ruskin for family visits.

They got my order all wrong, the bathroom is disguising and the soap to wash your hands is pretty much water. I’m never coming back and do not recommend the place

This place is extremely overpriced, for 3 tostadas and a burrito and 2 rice and beans this will cost you $50 bucks oh and by the way this is how they portion the rice and beans and charge you $4.30, ridiculous! Don’t eat here unless you want to spend over $50 bucks for two people.
