The Kountry Kitchen, now Barbara's Country Kitchen, is a small local diner serving good food with opportunities for improvement. The service is excellent, with servers anticipating any needs. It offers a welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of a family home and is a nice place for a homemade country breakfast. Popular special dishes may sell out quickly, so arrive early. Menu items include French toast made with Portuguese vanilla sweet bread, liver and onion with mashed potatoes, the Kountry Chef Salad, the Club, poached eggs, and Grilled Cheese. The food is consistent, tastes very good, and is plentiful. Parking is located right outside the building with enough spaces.
