Only bakery in town that I know of … small inside, but warm & cozy … cheesecakes made in premises, cookies made in Brooklyn, NY. Great price on cookies. Espresso-based coffee available. Gluten free scones available. Friendly staff. I want to try more!

I have seen this little shop for years and decided to go in and try the cheesecake. I Purchased 2 pieces of cheesecake to go for $21.31 yes 2 small pieces of cheesecake for over $20. That would have been ok I will pay for quality but unfortunately I did not get quality. Both pieces were kinda mushy textured and that was a little off putting the pumpkin one seemed to have a little gritty texture too and the crust on both were soggy. I am not sure how long they were sitting for in the display but overall it was not pleasant.

Came into this shop while out of town and was sad I couldn’t stay longer! The desserts looked great and the shop was very well decorated. I tried one of the rainbow cookies and it was very good. Very moist and flavorful, and it was a very good deal. Both of the owners were super nice and made great conversation. Glad I made the decision to pop in!

I got the mint cheesecake. It barely has any mint flavor. The mint cookies in the top had so so much more mint flavor than the cheesecake. What a let down! I was really looking forward to it tasting like mint choc chip ice cream, a fav of mine. Also the girl behind the counters pants were so saggy she had to keep pulling them up as she got my cheesecake. Her pants were also very long and dragging on the floor. Not really a fan of people touching their pants as they prep my food.

Bassano's is a lovely little restaurant for dessert and coffee. The cheesecake is delicious, staff are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is cozy. It is open a surprising range of hours. I try to make it here for some cheesecake whenever I am in downtown Safety Harbor. Besides coffee drinks, they also have beer, wine, and some other drinks. They used to serve some breakfast too; I assume they still do.

Absolutely perfect! We got coffee and tried the breakfast sandwich on a croissant, the cannoli cheesecake, and the black and white cookie. Everything was delicious! Thank you, Bassano's! We will definitely be back!

My 4 year old son and I went to downtown Safety Harbor today, and we stopped in Bassano Cheesecake. I had a slice of Bluberry Cheesecake and my son a chocolate chip cookie. The cheese cake was superb, and my son gave the chocolate chip cookie a big thumbs up! Very friendly staff, and a cool vibe from the moment you walk in. If any of y'all are out and about Safety Harbor on Main st, check them out. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I stopped in here after dinner while walking by. We ordered our cheesecake and went to sit down and found the cutest little quaint dining area. It felt so cozy and homey. The carrot cake cheesecake was delicious, not too sweet, and a great sized portion. My husband enjoyed his espresso. We brought a to go piece of the smores cheesecake to my parents who also said how delicious it was!
