We just tried this place for a quick bite and it was surprisingly better than expected! The outdoor patio was beautiful, cozy and relaxing. Service was excellent, food was exceptionally good, soup, salad, appetizer, non-alcoholic mocktails, all delicious - we'll be back to try some unusual delicious sounding dishes!

Great local spot with unique and flavorful dishes! Tried the mahi mahi and crab stuffed plantains and they were amazing. They brought us housemade hot sauce to try, which they bottle for purchase and it's SO GOOD. Definitely a spot to check out when you're in Safety Harbor.

Great chef inspired dishes. Friendly local service. Easy walk for me. Love the Sunday brunch. You can't beat the crab benedct,, donuts and fried oysters!! Coffee is good too. Sit outside

Impromptu stop turned into best decision! We Initially went to another local spot for dinner, but left because it was too noisy. We walked past Marker 39 and figured we’d check it out. We didn’t have reservations. However they graciously accommodated a table for two inside. Most of their seating is outside and we will be back to check out the outside dining experience. The food is sublime, rich with flavor and stunning presentation. I had the jerk seared chicken confit and my partner had the tamarind guava short rib…… it was so delicious we ate slow to savor each bite. Fresh ingredients, friendly service on a quaint corner one block off main st. If you’re contemplating a visit to Marker 39, I highly recommend it! Highly!

Went to Marker 39 on a Friday night w/ a 7 p.m. reservation. It's an adorable space that makes you feel right at home and comfortable. Our server, Jenna, was incredibly friendly and had great recommendations for our dinner. My husband and I both ordered the special of the night for the appetizer, which was the mushroom bisque - super creamy and delicious. The flavors were outstanding! We also ordered the Conch Wonton, which was super crispy and fresh - a great way to start off the meal. For our entrees, my husband ordered the short ribs - they were flavorful, but the beef was slightly dry. I ordered the Cuban Pork Crisis which was enormous and so beautifully plated! The pork was tasty and the overall, this was a stellar dish - a minor critique, but the dish could have been "wetter" - perhaps adding a mojo would have done the trick to make this less dry, but again, this is a small critique - it was great! We ordered a side of the malt salt shoestring fries...and they were one of the most delicious things I have ever tasted in my existence - I could eat these every day and never get tired of them! For drinks, I ordered a glass of the housemade sangria - very good. This is a family-owned business and they put a lot of care into what they are doing and you feel/see that in every element of the meal and the space. I highly recommend! Total for dinner was $112 w/out tip, which included (2) alcoholic beverages, (2) apps, and (2) entrees - fair price for the great food that we ate.

Had dinner here with my wife prior to a concert at the nearby Ruth Eckerd Hall. My wife wasn't happy at first because she couldn't get a margarita - they only sell beer and wine. But she enjoyed her meal - the Cuban Pork Crisis. My dinner - the short ribs - also was delicious and very artfully presented, although I would have liked a little more meat on the plate. The two small hunks of short rib weren't quite enough. Great service from Dave, whom I think was taking care of every table. Sorry. I didn't take pictures. They would have added a lot to this review.

My fiance and I went here for Valentine's Day and we will definitely be coming back. Jena, our server was great and gave us excellent recommendations. The dining room is intimate and cozy. The chef obviously takes great pride in his work. We got the plantain crab cakes, the mahi, and the braised short rib which were all amazing. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Located in a quiet part of the downtown scene of Safety Harbor, Marker 39 is small, quaint and intimate. The service is well-trained, disciplined and friendly. We sat outside on their patio on an unusually warm night in February in Florida. There were a good number of patrons enjoying their dinner and company. All in all, this is a nice place to visit. I ordered the mahi mahi dish and it came out within 10 minutes of ordering and the presentation was very nice and colorful. The smell of the dish was not strong nor did it have a Caribbean sense that I could relate to. The flavor was ordinary, nothing bad but nothing that stood out as well. I guess I was expecting more based on the reviews and online photos and even the cost. I was a bit underwhelmed. My wife and our friends also felt the same. Nice place to visit though.

We were in Safety Harbor for a concert & decided to have dinner at this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise. Cozy restaurant is situated in an art district type area. The food , atmosphere & service were excellent. I had the Mahi Mahi which was excellent. Highly recommend!
