There are lots of restaurants in Safety Harbor with high elan, bold menus and virtuoso chefs. Paradise is not among them. But sometimes, you just want a cheeseburger, and Paradise makes a damn fine one. Their breakfast is consistent comfort food you don't have to think about and won't drain your wallet. Paradise isn't pretentious or fussy. If you're so fragile that you need that to validate your life, go to Cafe Vino Tinto instead. Pretentious and fussy are her middle name.

Cruising through Saftey Harbor looking for food, we decided this looked like a good spot to grab a late breakfast which is served until 2:pm. We were greeted by 2 people immediately and was told to sit anywhere we wanted. We proceeded to sit outside but that area was off limits for that day although our waitress said that she would've been more than happy to go out and serve us outside. :) We decided to follow the rules as the weekend was still young. We decided to start our meal with Bloody Mary's and for our meal, I ordered an Irish omelette with toast which I slathered up with butter and jelly plus home fries and my wife ordered a Meat Lovers skillet. Everything was perfect and our waitress Sonya was super sweet and attentive. The inside is very much like a diner. We will definitely be back!

Like diners and this has a great diner vibe. Busy, nice, competent wait staff. Good food. Plenty of selection. Recommend visiting for breakfast/brunch. The pancakes were big and yummy.

If I could give this zero stars, I would! We just had an awful breakfast here. We are visiting my mom, and she suggested we try it for breakfast as she has never been. Do not get the 'homemade' corned beef hash, as it's just deli corned beef with sliced potatoes that are hardly browned or cooked. The service was also awful, with hardly any check ins and the two waitresses sticking at the counter gossiping about their fellow employees. I would never come back!!!

I've ate at Paradise for over 8 years. I use to take my elderly mother there weekly. The food was always excellent as well as the service and servers. Last year or so it wad sold. The quality of food and the service has greatly declined since. The waitresses are all new and not very friendly or alert. I will say the waitress Ashley is very good and friendly but she is the only one. Last time I ate there a month ago my breakfast food was cold and dry. They were short of help as always, the cook stepped outside for a few minutes, why I dont know but he was dirty and sloppy looking. He went right back to the grill and i doubt he washed his hands. The new owners are never there like the previous ones, at least they are not present when I was ever there. The service, food and place in general has declined which is sad. I will not be returning any time soon. I see this place gone or sold again within a few years.
