My wife and I came here for a short getaway. We spent one day at the Spa for a couples massage and other services. The spa and spa staff were great. Overall our trip was great. The hotel felt a little bit dated but it was clean and comfortable. We were there during the off season so there were not a lot of people there. The room rates were very affordable compared to other spa hotels in the area.
My first solo trip as well as my first wellness retreat. I must say it was the most incredible experience and would do it again!! Mary was awesome and the entire experience was excellent. The food was amazing, the massages were to die for. I plan on doing this every year! After you read other reviews...the hotel is older...that is why people love it.
The Safety Harbor Spa is a frequent location for our family, as we have relatives in the area. The staff is very friendly, knows us by name as we stay here time and time again, and is always accommodating to any requests we may have. The grounds have been upkept extraordinarily well over the recent past, and the pool & bar area in the courtyard are favorites for hosting guests because everyone always wants to visit The Spa.
