We got the fried chicken and fried fish along with green beans, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. The chicken was good as well as the mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese.The fish was a little bit mushy, maybe not cooked correctly. The green bean portion left a lot to be desired. I believe there may have been 7 small green beans, total. When we went in to pick up the food, the customer service was excellent.

The reviews say they are known for their fried chicken. This was a one and done for me. The flavor of the chicken was ok, the mashed potatoes and gravy lacked flavor and the green beans were very crunchy. I don’t eat chicken with feathers still on it, and that’s what I got. They comped me a banana pudding but I wasn’t really interested. Cute little place but only 1 try for me. Also the menu is not the one on line it is a very limited menu.

Southern Fresh is Southern Mehsh. The food here used to be so good. Now the portions are smaller, the vegetables are bland, and the menu is inaccurate. Went on a Saturday night and no one eating there; should tell you something. The menu descriptions were inaccurate, and our waiter never once asked how our food was (guessing he knew already). 3 stars on atmosphere as it was decorated well for fall on the patio. Will never go back.

Our server shared that recipes used have been passed from generations and the restaurant has been in Safety Harbor for 14 years. The sangria is delicious as well as the banana pudding. Friendly service and a lovely casual ambiance.

Their old menu was gone. Since United Smokehouse closed, their entire menu is entirely bland barbecue. At this rate, Southern Fresh will close soon as well.

Order takeout on the app which said they'll bring it out to my car, that's not true. Then when I called to ask them if they're going to bring it to my car the guy was rude and hung up on me. I parked and went in to pick it up and the girl was rude. However as always the food is delicious

That’s too bad. This used to be a wonderful place to eat with delicious food. Something changed, probably the owner. Name changed on the menus. Menu changed. My picanna was way over cooked, the mashed potatoes were extremely salty. Service was slow. Prices were up. We won’t be back. I miss the old Souther Fresh.

Southern Fresh is such a staple in our community. Could not have been happier that their door reopened today! As always the food is fantastic and the staff is wonderful and welcoming.
