Once a month, you will be forced to start your day by encountering law enforcement taking over this location. On even more infuriating occasions, law enforcement likes to show off their toys and block half the parking lot. When will the tyranny end?

A Decent Spot, but Not the Most Welcoming for Groups

Our group visits this Starbucks about once a month after our Saturday morning run—usually 8–12 of us grabbing coffee/food and chatting around 8 AM. The drinks are consistent, the space is clean, and the location is convenient.

However, about once every three or four visits, a staff member asks us to lower our voices. We're not rowdy—just enjoying some post-run conversation and laughter. Occasionally, someone might let a curse word slip, but we always self-correct and try to be respectful of others.

It’s worth noting that on Saturday mornings, the shop isn’t filled with people working or studying; it feels more like a casual coffee spot. That’s why the frequent reminders to quiet down seem a bit out of place.

By contrast, at a local bagel shop we visit twice as often, we’ve never been asked to lower our voices. That makes this Starbucks feel less welcoming for groups looking to relax and connect after an activity.

If you prefer a quieter, more reserved environment, this Starbucks may be ideal. But if you’re with a group hoping to share some laughs, you might find it less accommodating.

Guys i dont come to this location often but the worst Carmel macchiato ever i order extra carmel there is almost none and it taste like straight milk i always think maybe its just the day and then waste another $7 on a gross coffee and these is the only location i have been to that consistently makes it wrong. 🫠

This Starbucks is one of my favorites — not just for the consistently great coffee, but for the amazing team, especially Eden. She’s incredibly welcoming, always greets you with a warm smile, and has a way of making every visit feel personal. On top of that, she makes one of the best Brown Sugar Shaken Espressos I’ve ever had — perfectly balanced every time. Her attention to detail and positive energy really make a difference. If you’re stopping by, hope you get to meet her!

SafetyHarbor Starbucks is the only chain fast food or coffee in downtown. It's been successful and fits into the vibe for downtown Safety Harbor.

My favorite one for the caffeine fix. Flat white latte. Does the job Everytime

The service in this Starbucks is the worst I have ever experienced. Waited about 10 minutes to get waited on while employee washed down machine and the other employee had made a to go order. When I was waited on the girl couldn’t understand what I was ordering and the other girl stood there and didn’t offer any help. Needless to say my drink was wrong and asked to use a reward and she screwed that up too.

Extremely disappointed today.
I’m a regular Starbucks customer who spends nearly $10 a day across multiple locations. I stopped by this location today to get some work done and, as I’ve done many times before, I asked for a cup of water before placing my coffee order.

To my surprise, I was told no—even after I explained that I would be purchasing a drink shortly. I mentioned that I frequent Starbucks in Oldsmar, Countryside, Northwood Plaza, and Safety Harbor, and I’ve never had this issue before.

I was shocked by the lack of basic courtesy and customer service. This experience was completely out of line with what I’ve come to expect from Starbucks.

The food was delicious, and both the Caramel Iced Coffee and Strawberry Acaí Refresher were amazing—refreshing and flavorful! I’ve visited this location twice.

During my first visit, the experience was a bit off. We were helped by an employee named Suzanna, who seemed visibly bothered. She made a face at my sister when she asked how to use her rewards for the first time and whether she needed to scan a code. My sister also mentioned feeling like Suzanna had an attitude when we left , which confirmed my initial thoughts .

However, my second visit was much better! We were greeted by Ashley, who had a fantastic attitude and was very attentive. She had a smile on her face the entire time and made the experience enjoyable. Thank you, Ashley, for turning it around with your excellent customer service!
