Stopped by on my way out of town after seeing the One Bite review, hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve had. The Detroit style reminds me of my Nonna’s so much, and the Margherita was amazing as well.
Savannah was our server and was beyond polite & attentive, drinks never went empty and needed for nothing.
Will absolutely be back next time I’m in town.
It's a cool outdoor pizza joint with a great atmosphere. Come early because it's full every time I've been there and there's always a wait. The pizza is outstanding! We often disagree about which is better but for me the Detroit with meatballs and ricotta and for my wife it's the old world Margherita. Take out is also available but nothing is better than eating it there.
The Detroit style pizza was the bomb.
Don't buy Island Long tea, i got alergy from whatever they used
Updated 5/30/25: Ordered a Margherita and Detroit style. Detroit was a 8.5/10. I’d suggest ordering extra sauce on the side to dip. Otherwise very very very good. Margherita was a 7.4/10. Good pie, but not my favorite. Will definitely be coming back again sometime soon. Overall, if you order whole pies here, you will be very happy with your decision. If you order slices, you will be disappointed. Good service, on time order, fair price for quality. Happy customer. Glad I gave it another shot.
Alrighty, unfortunate review here. Let me just say right away, I will be giving them another shot. I’m going to order a whole pie next time, instead of the slices.
It seems the increase in foot traffic and popularity may have overwhelmed this place a bit. I ordered 2 pepperoni slices. Both came out extra greasy but still somehow dried out? Gave it a napkin job and took the picture after for clarification. The cheese had no “pull” to it. The sauce had either completely dried out or was non existent. The crisp crunch was certainly there! But less enjoyable and more stale crunch if that makes sense! If this was the standard, I wouldn’t go again in a million years. But I’ve seen other reviews and obviously Dave’s review had delicious looking pizza. I’m going to give it another shot and order a whole pie. I wouldn’t recommend getting slices here, and I will be updating my star rating after my second try. But right now it’s a 3/5 as the pizza scored a 5.8/10. Service was good. Atmosphere is truly unique!
Great Pizza spot in Safety Harbor!... Although they were busy we got seated within minutes and Food came out quickly...Definitely worth the drive!
Good pizza
Wonderful. Delicious pizza fun vibe
Nona’s Pizza - 1/5
Absolutely awful pizza. I tried their deep dish and was met with a crust that could double as a hockey puck — rock hard and impossible to enjoy. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the two regular pepperoni slices I ordered were shockingly dry — hands down the driest pizza I’ve ever had. No flavor, no moisture, just a bland, disappointing experience from start to finish. Not coming back. Terrible food.
Now I understand why there was such a long wait! The Detroit style pizza was amazing. Great outdoor seating if the weather is agreeable. Prices are very reasonable too.

Customer service could be better
Amazing Pizza service was really good for the hour of the day and number of people
Never had Detroit pizza but this stuff was legit good! Good garlic knots too. Nice place good service all around good experience. Will do again. Kudos from a Chicago guy! Try a couple different styles!
By far the best Detroit Style Pizza I have ever tasted!
All their pizza and food are great! You can tell by the waiting list upon arrival.
Great specials and great prices!
Family restaurant.
Holy cow, cat woman. This place is really good. I had three meatballs with sauce. The sauce was absolutely scrumptiously delicious. Thin crust pizza was amazingly Cris being good.
