Water Oak Grill

First time here. Food and Service were good. One order was wrong, but they more than compensated for tbe error. We will definitely go back. The brunch menu looked yummy. The Brussel sprout appetizer looked amazing. The crab cakes were really good. The ceceche only ok.

Met up with an old friend for lunch and sat outside. Beautiful day. Great food. Wonderful service. Would definitely go back!

Food was very yummy and servers are sooo nice! The young lady playing the flute brought the whole night together! A perfect touch to the dinner experience. I will definitely be returning (mostly to enjoy the flute) but also the food!!!

Great grouper sandwich. Cooked to perfection and nicely blackened. French fries are great as well. Tyler does an excellent job.

Water Oak is our new fav restaurant, having just moved back to the area. The food and cocktails are excellent and each time we return we can count on the same great food and service. On this particular occasion we sat outside and the Hostess that night was so warm and friendly, she went out of her way to tell us about some fun local events which made this visit that much more fun! We will be returning soon!

Came in for a date night with hubs and was excited because of the reviews but we were pretty disappointed. The atmosphere had us hyped but service was lack luster. Our appetizer never came, but when the food arrived it was drastically under seasoned(steamed veg with a dash of old bay??). The portions for the price were disappointing too. Ordered a second drink but it didnt come until the check and no one offered dessert. Can't say we will come back.

The wife’s filet was not great. My grouper was over cooked. Our server was not attentive. Overpriced drinks compared to Bar Fly.

We hosted our company Christmas party at Water Oak, and it was absolutely phenomenal! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was exceptional, and every detail was handled with care. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our event was perfect, and the food was outstanding. Our entire team had an amazing time. I highly recommend Water Oak.

Food was very good! We hade the beef short ribs, garlic mash, ceasar salad, grilled salmon. Everything was good. The short ribs were a medium portion. The ceasar salad was a good size for just a side/dinner salad. The service was excellent, drinks were great. Would definitely return.

Food was delicious and service was great, even for a busy evening with the event downtown. It was a lovely experience until we got the check, my husband had been charged an additional $5 per drink on top of the advertised price on the menu for bourbon. There was no notice or reasoning given for the up charge ahead of time and we were very displeased by the shady act of automatically charging it on top of what the drink cost was listed as on the menu. When my husband asked the manager about it she said it's because the bartender did a rocks pour vs the normal 1.5 oz pour (advertised on the menu) - again if you're going to automatically do a rocks pour then reflect that in your pricing and note it on the drink menu. She offered to do a refund and was gone for several minutes processing the refund. Then came back with the receipt and only did one of the two charges. Very disappointed in the shady act of the up charge with zero communication prior to our card being charged. Unfortunately we will now think twice about going back.

The restaurant apparently had adopted a new ordering program for all of its servers and they were trying to get the kinks out. They had not at all been successful by the time we ate dinner that night. The timing of the different portions of the meal were all off. The manager did comp our entire food bill, but with food, arriving cold or in one, and since not at all, I can't see through to giving it any better rating. To its credit, three of the people I designed with had been there before and absolutely had great experiences. We will try it again. 

The Lobster Bisque was so bad I didn’t eat it. Thin like milk and not a lot of flavor.

Great place in Safety Harbor which the town has become a great little destination.
