Whistle Stop Grill and Bar

Just went tonight for first time, will be our last. we were seated and that's where we waited, husband got up twice just to get someone to acknowledge we were there. Finally got a waitress, no apologies given, manger obviously didn't care either we were basically ignored. Fried green tomatoes were hard and not very good at all. there are way too many restaurants around to choose from and I recommend you choose any other than this one....if you care about customer service you guys really dropped the ball and if I'm choosing to spend my money at your restaurant the LEAST you could do is acknowledge and offer an apology if needed it could make a difference :/

Parking: We parked our E-Bikes in the lot and sat at a table just a few feet away and we enjoyed a fine lunch after a nice ride.

Always have great food here. Seafood, vegetarian, steak, salads, all great. Good happy hour and friendly service.

Love my Whistle Stop especially when the weather breaks and it is comfortable to sit Outdoors. The best seared Ahi tuna is from here hands down. bonus when the train goes by.

Great friendly fun place!

The atmosphere is nice especially on a cool evening. There are 4 tables for guests with pets although the waitress seemed disturbed by her presence. The staff seem to be bothered from the host to the waitress that took nearly 15 min to return to us and that was after we told the waved the hostess down. When she did finally return there was no apology or welcoming greeting. We tipped Tammy way more than she deserved. And the Mediterranean salad could use a different (sweet type) dressing to bring balance. For the spot it’s in and how long this restaurant is open it is likely folks go for the location and the vibe to drink.

What a great place! We found this Sunday when looking for a place to celebrate a birthday,drink, eat and watch football... it's like Safety Harbors' best kept secret! Love the bling, bling cow in front.
Staff super nice, wings are awesome ? there were a bunch of us and this will be our "go to hangout"….
