We love the getaway cafe!!! Always friendly service and the best pastries in town. Especially the Brioche!!! I think we have tried everything by now and all has always been delicious. I am also a fan of the Cubano Cafe and the house cafe as well.
It’s not a huge place but it doesn’t have to be. It has Charme and the owners are wonderful.
During season come early for the best selection of fresh breads and bakery items.
An absolutely gem 🫶🏻

I love, love, loveee this place so much! Not only do they have the best pastries and sandwiches, but the coffee is amazing too. I love coming here, grabbing a bite to eat and a coffee, and sitting outside. It’s so peaceful, and the people here are so friendly. I’ve tried everything, and it’s all so good!
Definitely come and check this place out, the earlier you come, the more variety of food options you get to choose from 💗

The best breakfast and lunch spot on the island! They serve authentic French food at a fraction of the price you’d pay elsewhere. Their coffee and croissants are absolutely to die for. Best of all, it’s a family-owned business and from the moment you walk in they make you feel like you’re part of the family. Check it out u will absolutely love it😮‍💨

We had sandwiches there they were very good and I thought the pricing was very reasonable we also got some desserts to take home. They had inside seating in the air conditioning, they also had a screen porch with a fan and they also had some outdoor seating which did not really look too inviting to me since it was out in the sun with no umbrellas. We ate on the screened in porch and watched the wildlife near the water which was right behind the restaurant. Very good food, very reasonable prices. I had a lamb gyro and my husband had the ham and cheese croissant. I don't think he really cared very much for the cheese that came with it but the croissant was great and the ham was good and they were very generous. It's a very cozy off the beaten path kind of place we liked it.

Stoped by for a coffee and and a couple pastries and everything was wonderful!! It’s not on the main road but worth the 2 minutes to get there. Seating outside and inside. We will be back.

Fabulous food and better than good coffee. Party of 5. Everyone raved about the croissants and I enjoyed some giant blueberry muffin like treat. Delicious.

Neat little cafe that had good coffee and an absolutely delicious breakfast croissant! There is screened in seating as well as an outdoor patio that was lovely to enjoy the morning. If it had been a bit later in the day they had some tasty looking sandwiches and desserts ready to go.

They have a great bacon and egg croissant breakfast sandwich.

I love this little cafe. It's right on the water, so you can go outside and sit at their tables and look at the water. The food is great, and the service is great.
