Great early bird menu with something for everyone! Great place to eat of your attending something downtown.

Very average seafood. Fish was super dry. There are much better places along the beach side. They didn't have a wait for a reason I guess

Glad this place closed - I'm guessing they got shut down by the board of health.Food poisoning central. 3 of us met there for dinner - all 3 of us ended up very sick within an hour of dinner, most likely from one of the appetizers. BTW, all 3 of us are dr's so we know what food poisoning is. It's a tourist trap anyway so no reason to go there.

I'm giving them a 5 star from the last time I was there for lunch with my wife. We returned there on 7/5/23 and there was a sign on the door RENOVATION in progress. January 2024 completion. So there you have it. See you next year 400 Beach.

Danny is a very rude arrogant server. I was really appalled with the staff completely. The hostess even said specifically that "on one ever" uses the sidewalk table I sat on.They were very slow. I even had to ask for water, serval times. I had Requested salt and pepper before I had that too. Then I wanted to get dessert and a cappuccino, and Danny just ignored me while I was waving him down. SO I WENT NEXT DOOR, and bought my coffee. I also had to break a $20 so that the cash I left was the EXACT AMOUNT with ZERO tip and the written note on the receipt that Danny was a j*** . . .WOW, Sad to say the Salad was great! So we have an awesome Chef here, who I avoid now because of rude staff . . . pitty . . . The pathetic fool even dropped a glass on the public sidewalk and then left it there for 10 minutes. I got up and moved a chair over it as people walk by all day. "NO Thank you," but a snooty look when he finally came to clean it up.

Great food and service for a large party of 16. Grouper was amazing and save room for desert.

Best red snapper I’ve ever had, super fresh. Every dish we ordered was delicious. The service was excellent as well.

Relaxed dinner with friends at an outside table. Food was fresh, flavorful and hot. Although prices were a bit steep, the service & food were good. Relatively quiet corner of the establishment allowed conversation and relative privacy. Greg was attentive and knowledgeable.

Our Server Andreas was professional, knowlegeable and totally had an eye on our table. Burrata appetizer is always good here, just love it, Both entrees were yummy, sea scallops cooked to perfection, so was the catch of the day. This visit was so far the bestest one. Keep it going.

Really weak meal. Service was friendly and wonderful. Charcuterie board was nearly inedible, salad was a pile of lettuce with hardly any toppings, lobster rolls rubbery and unseasoned. Drinks lackluster across the board. Such a shame! Great location and our waitress was awesome. But zero redeeming things about the food. And we paid more than any meal we've had in St. Pete during the entire weekend. Do not recommend!

We have been die hard fans of 400 Beach for almost ten years!! Even so much as to have our rehearsal dinner here the night before our wedding. Unfortunately the food had gone down since that day in 2020. Understanding they have changed hands with management, the food has suffered as a result. When we entered the restaurant, we were not greeted by anyone and waited at the hostess desk for a little while, until someone finally showed up. We were seated and our server was pleasant. The menu has also gone through massive changes and doesn't portray the once “elevated experience” that we used to have at every visit. Our visiting family even mentioned the dramatic changes and their disappointment to what they once remembered. While the restaurant will always remain in a special place in our hearts, we will think twice about returning

We are here years ago on vacation and decided to go again. I had the scallops. My husband had the lettuce bibb with salmon. Both were good. We had the rolls for an appetizer and they were excellent. I ended up eating 1 and saving 1 for dessert. My husband ate 4 before the meal came. We like this restaurant but there are others in the area that I like better.

Went here for mothers day dinner, party of 4, my husband and I from out of state. Started off with a nice bottle of wine and cocktails, ambiance was good, quiet for a mothers day dinner at 6ish. I ordered the lobster roll, it was served on a very thick bun. The dish had no flavor, i ended up picking at the lobster with a fork. I also ordered mac n cheese, also very bland. My mother had the prime rib which she ate after everyone at the table was finished due to the wrong order placed with the kitchen...and guess what, she said it was terrible. The bread was so hard you could not break it with a knife. My husband and sister also reported their meals were flavorless. The waitress went MIA after she delivered the correct meal to my mother. When we finally tracked her fown we asked to remove the bread charge as this was the least costly $6 of our $300 meal. I informed the waitress that was one of the worst meals I've had in a long time, her reply, "OH". SAD ALL AROUND. At least make me feel like you care about your restaurant! Walk on by there are fabulous restaurants just down the block!

The service was absolutely horrible. Considering the price for the meal, the server should be more attentive. We had to ask for drinks and the specials. The food was okay, but not worth the price.

Mothers Day brunch with mom and daughter today. I understand buffet style is often just okay and food is over cooked but it was okay, however, the flys outside made eating impossible. Cocktails were good but not great. Overall, very average experience
