Booked for a birthday dinner, very nice experience overall, reservation was on the later half of the evening so felt some of the service was underwhelming and for the price point & caliber marketed, would've expected a simply happy birthday for the one in the group, but absolutely no recognition. Would make me consider choosing elsewhere if you're celebrating a special occasion. Other than that good for a night out with friends or couple. I'd like to add an update to this review as this restaurant contacted me directly regarding my dinner. Overall it was a great meal and the restaurant truly listened to my feedback and offered an unexpected gesture to makeup for the experience. Their commitment to their guests should be commended and I will definitely make another visit because of such.
The food and service here are amazing. We had the octopus, brussels, chicken, seafood pasta. All really extraordinary dishes. We are a no alcohol group and it would be nice if they had a better mocktails menu. They made custom drinks for us but the menu only has 2 mocktails. It was too cold inside. And the music was too loud (they turned it down but this is a bad trend at most restaurants) We ate outside which was delightful. Service was really good though I still don't like the idea of removing dishes when others are still eating. It's not a good practice. I truly love Allelo and I will go back.
Despite a reservation it took 10 minutes for the hostess to seat us in a half full restaurant on a Sunday night. Then we waited 15 minutes for a busboy to finally ask if we wanted water and said he would find us a waiter! We never did get one. Instead the busser and a runner served us. Dishes tasted great but service was sloppy and obviously although happy to take our money they really didn't care if we ever come back or even recommend them. Sad because the food is delicious!
Step into Mediterranean charm and elegance and be pleasantly surprised with the short but far reaching menu. Each dish will leave you waiting for the next. You won't stop ordering and you won't be disappointed.
It was a very nice experience. The food is delicious, with smaller portions. if you're looking for a party vibe sit in the bar at a high top. If you sit in the other dining room, it's small, ask for a table against the wall, or a corner booth . I recommend looking at the menu before you go. It's a limited menu. The outdoor seating is very nice as well.
We went there on Sunday morning for brunch and sat outside and it was lovely. The whole zone is very nice, the restaurant has a chicche vibe, view of the water and a yummy brunch menu. It’s a Mediterranean-European fusion. We had the Shakshouka and Turkish Deviled Eggs and some orange juice and paid about $65 with tip.

Food is perfectly mediocre at an elevated price point that does not reflect quality. Service is meh. Sat at a table once and hated it. Sat at the bar for 20 minutes on a Wednesday and never got a drink. Take your money elsewhere and get more for it.
We had an excellent dining experience at Allelo last evening. The weather was beautiful so we chose to dine outside. Great ambience. Our server, Kyle, was wonderful and Michelle, the sommelier and general manager, was suburb. She assisted us with our wine choices and explained the diverse menu selections in great detail. The shrimp appetizer, gambas Al ajillo, was the best app we'd ever tasted and the octopus with pressed watermelon was divine. For dinner we chose 2 homemade pasta dishes ,the lamb Ragu with radiatori pasta was exceptional as was the seafood linguine with shrimp amd clams, delicious. Don't miss the Allelo candy bar for dessert, stellar. We can't wait to return. Many thanks to Michelle, Kyle and the Allelo staff for this exceptional dining experience!
The dining experience at Allelo is nothing short of a masterclass in hospitality. Every minute detail, from plating, service, to the dishes themselves was perfectly planned and executed. The beef tartare and octopus were exceptional. If I ever had to pick a last meal, it would be the cheesecake here. Server/Bartender was excellent! Cannot recommend enough!

Tonight was my first visit to Allelo on Beach Drive in St. Pete. We didn’t have a reservation but were lucky to get seats at the bar around 7 p.m. They mentioned they were fully booked, though we did notice a few tables open both when we arrived and when we left. Still, we ended up having a great time at the bar!
The female bartender was pretty friendly and attentive, and the bar back (a male) was busy helping with table and silverware setup ~ both were good.
We ordered the Baby Gem Salad, Mussels in a delicious tomato sauce, and the Cocktail Shrimp, which were all fantastic.
The cocktails were unique and interestingly crafted. The espresso martini had an interesting twist ~ a subtle touch of amaro that gave it depth. The lemon drop martini was made with their house lemonade, which gave it a refreshing and slightly unexpected flavor. My friend ordered the Aperol Spritz and really enjoyed it too.
It was a bit loud inside, so next time I’ll definitely ask to sit outside, especially in this beautiful weather. The restaurant has a charming patio right on Beach Drive, a cozy bar area, and another smaller dining room to the right as you walk in.
The space is beautifully decorated, with a hand-painted mural of birds by a local artist. They even provided a list so guests can learn about each bird featured on the wall ~ a thoughtful touch!
I’m surprised it took me this long to visit, especially since I consider myself quite the foodie. Allelo has been open for 5 years, and after tonight, I can definitely say I’ll be back soon!

Second time dining here (patio/dining room) beautiful restaurant, great food and service, amazing atmosphere/decor. They do a Service Industry discount on Monday nights which is very delightful as well.
We've never had a bad experience at Allelo and we rarely order the same thing twice. Everything on their menu is phenomenal.
The restaurant was highly recommended and held up to its reputation. Brunch was fantastic. Tapas portions allowed us to select a very diverse sampling, with our party of six beyond satisfied with quantities, quality and taste. Amy, our server, was most attentive. From entrance to exit, our experience was A plus! Thanks for enhancing the occasion of my adult son's birthday.

Atmosphere 10/10 food 10/10 service 10/10 great spot. Dined on the street they had live music nearby, some fans for a cool breeze. Got a variety of apps, the mezzo board, salads, a few desserts, highly recommend.
