Bavaro's Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria

As always food an the service were amazing! That team is on point! We travel over an hour to enjoy ourselves @ Bavaro!

We arrived early and they were able to seat us anyway. The service was great. The stracciatella caprese is amazaing- I went back this time for that reason! But had to remove one star - my husband had Mike's Seafood Pasta, but the clams had not been cleaned properly so there was a lot of sand in the dish- not pleasant.

I might have to move to St. Petersburg so I can keep eating at Bavaro's! Outstanding service/recommdations by our waitress Jennifer. The pizza, especially the crust, is perfection. The homemade pasta dishes-superb! We will definitely eat here again when we return to St Petersburg!!

This week my family was in St Pete for my grandsons baseball tournament. Not being the greatest of planners we found ourselves wanting a dinner together with 11 people on a Friday night. Not a reservation to be found! I found Bavaros and I'm so glad I did. The place was packed, but Christy ( our lovely server) handled us perfectly and with great humor for our picky eaters. The good was very good, the outdoor seating lovely and the service excellent. I would highly recommend.

Since the last time we were there they no longer have spirits, just beer and wine. Bummer since I love a good cocktail or 2 with dinner. The giant fan was whipping around and it was a chilly evening, we finally asked the manager to turn it down as they WOULDN'T change our table. At the time the restaurant was half empty. We had friends in from out of town and they wanted Italian and this used to be our go to...nope. The oysters had way too much cheese on them, the bruschetta was fantastic. I understand the pizza crust doesn't get stiff as pizza parlor pizza, but mine was flat our mushy. The ravioli was very salty, I'm told by our guest the salmon was good. Our other guest said the pasta dish he ordered was good. There are plenty of other places to try and we will. It's too bad, our past visits were good.

Excellent pizza! The Wild Funghi and the Diavalo were both excellent. The lunch portion was just right and the rest of the menu makes a return visit assured. Lovely and attentive staff. Another stand out spot ion Central!!!

Bavaro's has been one of our go-to Italian restaurants for the past 7years. Always great food and great service! Portions are perfect, wine is delicious and it's in a great neighborhood of downtown St. Pete.

The food was wonderful. My daughter said we absolutely HAD to get the garlic bread because it’s amazing and she was absolutely right. So much garlic, which I love. Definitely eat this before you go out vampire hunting.

We shared the ravioli with vodka sauce and it was great as well.

Service was above and beyond. Atmosphere is lovely and that little area of St. Pete is so much fun.

Kid-friendliness: There was a couple in there with a tiny baby and another couple with two children as well. I mean, they have pizza so how much more kid friendly does it get?

This is one of my favorite restaurants in DTSP. We always like to sit at the bar. Jen always provides the best service and she feels like a friend. She always knows what we want when we come in lol she’s the best! The food is great too, you can’t go wrong with the raviolis or pasta in vodka sauce. The Caesar is awesome too, ask for chicken because that chicken is amazing!

We enjoyed a pizza and two pasta dishes. Meals were tasty and hot with ample portions for dinner. Service was very attentive and helpful while making chocies. Will definitely visit this location again. On-street parking was available with just a short walk.

Food was great, and I was nervous bc it's on Central avenue. Service staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I removed a star for atmosphere, which to no fault of the restaurant, the place next door plays loud terrible music and there's quite a few vagrants walking around. That being said, I'd be back in a heartbeat because the food was so good, and the waitress and hostess were so friendly.
