Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Breakfast last Sunday was exceptionally good and service was great as usual!

Not as good as remembered, the prices are way up and the food was not great. Our service was good with the exception of one thing. I asked for a baked potato and was not told it was an up-charge with my meal. I received a tiny round baked potato that was not really hot. For the upcharge I could buy a bag of potatoes. At checkout I asked about it but not too sympathetic to my concern. Might not return anytime soon. I have always had good experiences but this was not great.

Food was not enjoyable. When asked for a poached egg, the answer was we don't do them. The muffin of the eggs Benedict fell apart. Not even toasted. Sauce was cold. The whole plate was not edible.

Over medium eggs, The eggwhites was super runny. Hash brown casserole cold. Service was better than excellent!

Waitress very kind and attentive. Conflict at register over my points and had to ask for manager. She solved the problem. One particular employee lady working at front register and gift shop. She never smiles or greets anyone.she seems very unhappy and makes one feel uncomfortable being around her. She definitely does not like people and seems very unhappy working at cracker barrel. She has worked at this location for many years. Management should speak to her about having a better attitude and smiling and greeting customers. She does not represent Cravcker Barrel well at all.

Rick was a AMAZING server. He helped make our meal very pleasant and never let out drinks go empty. He will definitely be the reason we come back!

Went to a different location and it was the best! Our usual restaurant we go to is also always delish, but honestly, the one in St Petersburg was even better. We both had the chicken and dumplings, 3 sides; had Mac and cheese, fried okra, green beans and hubby had the apples instead of okra. HUGE proportions, so he had another dinner on his, and I had another dinner, PLUS enough for a little lunch, too! For 11.99! I'd rather go to cracker barrel than any other way more pricier restaurants, because the food is always delicious and you CANNOT beat the prices for what you get. And those biscuits though!! 😋🤤

I had not been to Cracker Barrel in a while and was impressed with the change in the menu. I tried the ribs which were delicious. I would return just for those. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Parking: Plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: Kid area and good menu choices for childten

Wheelchair accessibility: Though I am not I. A wheel chair, it appears accessibility is plentiful..

Cracker barrel great place in the cut for me and I love their meatloaf I also get my kid her shrimp and it's a great budget I only paid $22 great place to eat and so managed to take food home
